- 八九十年代出生的人，不以粤语为母语方言的，第一首学会的粤语歌大概就是Beyond的海阔天空，起初被歌曲高亢的情感吸引，看过歌词后，不免觉得词曲相合，更入人心，结合黄家驹的唱腔，更有一种苍狼悲情，而又不屈不挠的热血。这首曲子传唱至今，已不只是消夏的傍晚街头回荡在街巷的旋律，它似乎已经变成了一种文化符号，超越音乐本身，每当遇到挫折，或是绝地反击，或是迎难而上，或是时来运转时候的便会耳畔响起，余音绕梁，成为积极，自由，向上和力量的象征。
儿时许多朗朗上口的歌曲数十年后依然抓耳，而如今却很难有一段前奏，一段副歌能让人循环整天的情况。1993年，那真是华语乐坛神作倍出的一年，有内地的小芳，你的柔情我永远不懂，轻轻地告诉你，涛声依旧，也有港台的吻别，九百九十九朵玫瑰，风中有朵雨做的云，牵手，花心，爱如潮水等等。但论影响力，海阔天空应该无出其右，而造化弄人，这首曲子竟是Beyond的巅峰，也是词曲作者黄家驹的绝唱，彼时的海阔天空，已不是青鸾脉脉西飞去，海阔天空不知处中爱人互诉衷肠的轻叹，而是Beyond经历异乡发展挫折后对前途和命运的慨叹和怒吼，往后家驹的骤然离世更让海阔天空平添一抹悲壮。每每听到曲子中间奏的钢琴solo，都让人热泪盈眶，仿佛海天之间骤然狂风大作，每个人都如海燕般迎着疾风骤雨而勇敢穿行其间。
粤语有句经典：人一世，物一世。而人生如逆水行舟，不进则退，披荆斩棘时，谁又不想片刻的横刀立马，仰天长啸，以一曲海阔天空致敬心中倔强的自己，致敬黄家驹，致敬每一个路上百折不挠奋斗过的青春。

People born in the 80s and 90s, who are not native cantonese speakers, the first learned cantonese song is the Beyond band - Hold On To My Dream, attracted to songs blazing emotion at first, after reading the lyrics, people may feel its lyrics and music are perfectly matched.Combined with singer Wong Jiaju's singing, there is a feeling of sadness and blood. It seems that this song has become a cultural symbol, beyond the music itself. Whenever people encounter setbacks, they will recall this song. It has become a symbol of positivity, freedom, uplift and strength.
While many of the catchy songs of childhood still ring decades later, it's hard to have a prelude, a chorus that loops through the day. The year 1993 was really a year when the "Giant" Chinese music came out. but in terms of influence, Haiguangsky should rank first. This song was the peak of Beyond band, and also the swan song of songwriter Wong Ka Ju. The sudden death of Jia Ju made Haiguangsky even more tragic. Every time I hear the piano solo playing in the middle of the song, tears fill my eyes, as if the wind suddenly blows between the sea and the sky, and everyone bravely walks through it like a petrel in the face of the wind and rain.
There is a classic Cantonese saying: people always live, things always live. And life is like a boat going against the current, not to advance is to retreat, who do not want to be a moment of the sword immediately, to the sky to salute their stubborn heart, tribute to Huang Jiaju, tribute to each road indomitable struggle of youth.

能不能编到更豪放的，like less legato, less clear, one pedal through a phrase, but just have a broken colour and yet cohesive like the original voice? 我发现很多钢琴都编的很温柔，is that a limitation of the instrument.... like I also tried composing but it is just hard to get things cohesive.
