Watching this it felt like home. Ms. Iype & Mr. Verma's aesthetics transcend the films they make. The architect should be applauded for such a beautiful and conscientious approach towards building a home.
I'm from Punjab, living in Australia last 20 years. Never been to Kerala but there's something about it that draws me in. Will settle in Kerala when and if.
Instead of setting in kerela come to kerela first and stay at some home stays. Know the good and bad. Every place has good and bad. From united kingdom to united kerela. If u can't adjust to the 3rd world (kerela definitely 2nd world and the most developed state in India) then make the move. Because it looks good from the outside. Until u step in. I wanted to settle in kerela. Nice cursine. Land of gods. But also beef shops everywhere. God (Jesus or Krishna loves animals). So like how can it be. Overall kerela is a good vacation destination. But staying there day in day out specially when u r half Australian would be a challenge. But then money speaks. There r gems in kerela that if u r rich u can enjoy and live peacefully. I ended up selecting a land near Kanyakumari (sangutharai beach) but got priced out and unfortunately didn't buy. Anyways if u want the indianess but want modern facilities then Fiji or t&t may be the way. U get indians but of the 2nd world. Just a caution. Think and make the move.
Hard work....thats the part they don't usually show. The early years of long night neating the books, then early career days building experience....some work on multiple projects (paying decades long mortages). My own parents were like this....and that was a behind the scene perspective i got. Only in later years they really began to relax more...and of course, we their children, gained tremendously from their wise investments...i thank God for that daily
Mind-blowing design. As a builder firm, we are striving to find a client with a passion for ethnic homes. The artistic touches and use of materials are truly a masterpiece.
This is a kind of house that I always liked because of so many reasons, because I always thought in a similar way as the owners of this beautiful house : From my landscaping point of view, in spite of the evident beauty of this architecture, it's always better to have a huge quantity of lush vegetation blocking the view of the building than having all the view cleared (so everyone could appreciate the architecture from a distance). It's preferable only to be possible to discover (as a mystery that unfolds, little by litttle, into our eyes) the beautiful architecture when one can get closer to the house (not from a distance), without neglecting the possibility of having a beautiful vegetation in this way. The other reason for which I liked these kind of houses so much is because I always loved inner courtyards which allow side rooms fill in with natural light (I think that greek and romans did something similar), conveying a sense of semi-interior and semi-exterior space at the same time. This last reason is, obviously, more desirable on hot climates, and more difficult on cold ones.
Wowww this home blows you away ❤❤❤ a breath of fresh air. It's so colourful so green so full of life so well lit and so functional yet super beautiful ❤❤❤ in love with this. Wishing the lovely owners all happiness in this lovely abode. I wish to take notes from this and build a similar holiday home soon
Our Two doggies Boxy & Pedro were born in this House when it was Owned by Mr Ashok Koshy. I had visited the original house a few times to meet Mr Ashok Koshi.
Such a beautiful home. I am building one in Bangkok as well. It’s a challenge to have a home surrounded by nature in a large metropolitan area but WILL DO IT
Only thing is we must need good neighbourhoods families near by our homes like this, thats not only for support but also for safety.we cant live alone only with dream homes, there must be neighbourhood families to share our happiness
Hi, could you please share your contact details with us on editorial@beautifulhomesindia.com so that we can get in touch with you and assist you with your requirement.
Compare it to the other south indian states it better place for retirement. There is no shortage of water, no powercut, less air pollution, noone force you to talk in local language😂
That's bcos these houses are built by people who don't think about money when they venture into it. Some years back when I approached architects for my project and when I said need to be within certain budget, many rejected saying "we don't want to take projects with budget constraints"...

dude the prices is highly inflated and u won't get anything . better built and settle in Punjab atleast u get more than keral
Welcome to kerala 🥰🍀
The land prices, even in villages, are too inflated in Kerala.

Beyond words❤ I'm in love with this house.. I can seriously feel this house...
Surreal…! Just wish the paints inside the home were subtle and light.. makes the indoors really dark.

No one tells about the cost of building a house like this....
That's bcos these houses are built by people who don't think about money when they venture into it.
Some years back when I approached architects for my project and when I said need to be within certain budget, many rejected saying "we don't want to take projects with budget constraints"...
How did you make the stronger foundation for an already built house? Is it possible to do that without demolishing and reconstruction? Curious to know
ഇതൊന്നു കാണാൻ പറ്റുമോ..നേരിട്ടു വന്നാൽ

Hi, the paintings are really beautiful, may i please know where can i get these paintings from?
will it be hot as there is lot of water nearby.. Humidity?
Oppressively humid! But that's Kerala for you, one of the main reasons why it's so lush and green everywhere there.
Lovely home ❤
