I can't believe this was recorded such a short time before he passed away! He seemed so full of life and projects... I miss him every day but of course this month is even tougher...
    Michael... you'll never be forgotten.

This was not recorded in November 1997. Michael was not in CA then and his hair was cut much shorter about a month before his death.

He met with Michael Douglas this same day about doing a movie. So sad that it's only 2 weeks before his death. So very sad.

This definitely is not Nov 1997. Michael's hair was cut shorter. He was in California in November working on his solo album. Also visited The Viper Room before he went to Sydney.

@sylicone221 In the book it states in Ch17-- "Michael had announced many times he did not want to be a forty-year-old starving rock and roll frontman forced to play small venues to pay the bills. He was proud of his investments had spoken of how he had set his affairs up in an ironclad manor. " An Australian paper noted that MH's estate was worth zilch, but the properties & future royalties go to separate trust that executors control.

It is an idea that haunts my mind a lot, which makes me think that it is possible that he found out the day he died that he was wrong to trust his finances with his lawyer and that today we know he is the absolute owner of everything he left and his assets . It is possible that knowing this was the trigger for him to commit suicide, knowing that his investments were no longer his, because he always wanted not to be "a 40-year-old star working in small places to pay debts."

@@cyazp5740 Michael Hutchence did not commit suicide. Somewhere along his 20 yrs in rock and roll he was introduced to kinky sex, and one technique which created the ultimate orgasm involved reducing oxygen to the brain. It was dangerous and proved to be deadly for MH...as it has for so many others.

@sylicone221 The only thing I recall reading is that the rock&roll lifestyle is for the young. I don't think he had a death wish or death obsession.

@sylicone221 you seriously need to stop putting that all over the place or get it right. He didn't want to be a struggling 40 yr rock band frontman, struggling to make a living, going gig to gig. This is what is in "Just a Man" & refers to MH working hard to ensure his financial security only to have insult added to injury when the executors of his will stole his estate/properties/on-going royalties and stating MH owned none of them. But somehow the executors & their kids reap the rewards.

Right? Michael ‘sheltered’ his money in such a way that his rightful heirs now cannot touch Colin Diamond et al. Makes me sick.
