That last play is vs a 2 deep safety look. Their first move is deep and away from the seam, so the seams are open in that flex empty set. That was an entertaining game. I found it funny that he executed the same concept you preached. "Take the flat. When they take the flat, you change the route." He through that Trails play out of empty flex and took the open drag until you covered both. Once you were totally fixated on stopping that and had your user at 5 yards, he threw the post over top. Also, by switching back and forth, I feel like he kept you from figuring out a solution to stop it.
he out coached him through adjustments. the danger of running the same off/def play near every down is smarter players being able to adjust. I noticed that hole in the shell in the beginning and the wide rushers make him an ez run target for anyone that knows how to go under center vs dime (DBs dont run shed well as long as the runner doesn't speed burst) Civ underestimated him until it was too late, the min players start making adjustments have to respect the possibilities that they may know a thing or touchdown.
Way to come back that was pretty dope. That last play he picked on you. You was suppose to help with that coverage with your linebacker against that TE
that assignment is one HALF of a cov2 shell, cov 6 is a combo of 2 and 4 with half the field being 4 other 2 hence the 6 the weakness is the deep middle on cov2 because that isn't their assignment..if the inside qtr. from the 4 side is occupied or too spaced that def is weak to skinny posts from the 2 side no diff than if you were in full cov2 hence the Tampa 2 was born with the middle backer filling the void. with your opp for sure needing to go deep putting your hooks at 30 and changing the other hook to a mid read would at the very least given you the same chance as basic mid read cov2 to switch stick to or make a tackle/play I would also consider usering the hook and not the 3rec hook that will auto pick up routes better than a hook giving you more help alot of players are using this scheme and 2 things are clear every time I face it, the def is ez to run on with the wide splits, and dbs are trying to run shed. but so is 6-1 if you understand the run mechanic and how to angle block. and the off is more of a short dink and dunk off that if you fall behind , the only true route to get you down field is the TE post. IF... it gets extended time to cross the field going drop zone in those situations is usually best that way no defender matches and you play for depth/switch stick
I saw your tweet go viral. Aaron Rodgers said it. An MSNBC broadcaster (Chris Hayes I think) tweeted your tweet as how people believe anything. Wild. I was like, how is Civ on my politics twitter feed. Wild.
Calling Isiah Ben Simmons is insane work 😭

Double safety blitz brings 1 of the safties down into the box. Then you can switch to cover 6 or cover 3. Manually bring the other safety down .
Dawg they were talking about your Goff tweet on mcafee today 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😭
If their running I like to user the opposite hash safety and bring him down works pretty well I think usering the mlb gets burned by runs
Could you do a lineup breakdown
I missed your vids for a week, my win percentage went down 😔
Love the content civil
I deadass saw that stat on instagram about jared goff. On like a legitimate sports page 😂 you fooled everybody apparently.
Do you run GS? I was running it on Cunningham and decided to try HRM and gift wrapped instead. Idk if I can tell the difference or not.
What play book are you using
I’m telling you coach suggestion demons are harder to play than the meta sometimes
