I feel what you are saying. I got my CDL class A with 3 endorsements and the only jobs that I seem to get are class B jobs because of my experience. Presently driving a Paccar (garbage truck) at 30 dollars an hour. I live in NYC so these W2 jobs suck. Thanks for your content I’m ready to make a change.
Be safe out there, brother 🙏, I'm starting my own expedited business in February next year, and I have been watching you since, and I want to know if you have time to be a mentor to me
This is one of my dreams, to be able to get my CDL. And start doing exactly what you doing, thats the smartest $h!t you could have done. Much respect and wish you the best brother. Keep up the good work. Wish you the best
Man folks I did the same thing comiNG from that 209....paid for school!!! went to school!!! Then got turned on to this cargo van game!!! I really fell N love wHEN I stumble across YOU N DDK "NOW" I'm on my way.💯💙
Been following u for a while just got a sprinter 3500 , I'm checking whats the best insurance , and gas card provider and what type equipments you need , already got dot , ein , Mc# after all that what's the best boards for a starter
Rite on man.. I deal with progressive insurance, I use my business credit cards that give good cash back rewards for gas , Bank of America and citibank.. I just signed up for DAT load board.. Good luck out there👌🏾
holy shit... you realize your trip cost you 10hrs.... at a 1.40 a mile! .... bro please....anyone listening... we can't do this anymore... how are you still in business taking loads at 1.40 a mile?!? What's happening here is that the logistics industry has been highjacked by 3rd party brokers. NO, the gas prices do not reflect or have any correlation to why brokers are posting loads this low. If anything the cost for loads should have gone UP! They are completely screwing everyone including independent owners that are new to the business and have no choice but to take it... Everyone needs to learn what their COST PER MILE is.... whether your a TRAILER, BOX TRUCK, or SPRINTER VAN... you need to know this and the best weapon is knowledge....and a phone call to the company that is posting on DAT...friggin call them... act pissed.......and ask them how the hell do you think we are not going to have a logistic crash in 2024 if we continue to work for $10-12 bucks an HOUR! This is the reason why owner-operators have left their business because of this SHITE!
🤣🤣I'm still in business because I make a profit everytime I run a load. My business cost per mile is 36 cents per mile and that's on the high end. Everyone's business overhead is different. Thats commen sense🤣🤣.. I don't know what planet your on but Thats the market were in now. $1.40 a mile in a cargo van in this market is great. it's literally drivers taking between 60cents-75cents per mile but you on here complaining about my $1.40🤣🤣 what I'm learning is it's always going to be someone complaining about what the next man does.. Im thinking your business overhead is way to high so you see no profit on most loads but we are not the same buddy✌🏾
