I've been using the h510 with the metal front since 2019 with astock AMD Wraith Prism cooler. It definitely does get hot but I've never had my thermals cause performance issues. I love the minimalism of the clean front.
i have a h500 and i love it, it has served me well for like 7 years so far, it is great with the hatdware i put insode very silent with the configuration i used in it, it is the cleanest whiye case i have found, i have not found any case similar worth to upgrate to
Some time ago I got a used 5000D for my oldest son and bis brandnew rig. Great case, so as my younger one wanted a new rig too, I tried the 4000D this time, and it's a no-brainer at this pricepoint (~75 $). Very well made case with enough room for 360 AIO in the top, side and/or front. Bought myself one, too. I love it ❤😊
I bought a used ID Cooling 360 AIO that included all of the mounting hardware but w/o fans for $20. I have spare fans to use on it. It was a no-brainer. I currently use the Montech X3. It has nice airflow from the 3x 140mm fans. But, the molex gravy train that's happening in backside of the case is just taking up too much room.
Is that SSD in the lower M.2 slot a 980 Pro or 990 Pro? If it's one of those two models then it should go in the first M.2 slot, the one with the heatsink, as that's the Gen 4 slot while the bottom one is Gen 3 (if that board is a B550 one).
yea i had a customer go buy one of the NZXT 510 case and i warned him its a hotbox for sure but he only had enough for the cheap case so i had ordered a LL lancool mesh 2 came in 2 days prior so i gave him that
Missus got my 4000d + labour parts install, went with aRGB at the top + 1 on the rear, basic gamemax fan. mATX z390 but looks alright, issue; that one standoff and spares were all busted I had to jam a PSU screw to complete the mobo install😬
This case swap was definitely an upgrade for sure. My buddy had an H510 in his old PC he meant to sell, and yeah safe to say first thing I did after he put me in charge of selling it was case swapping it to a Montech air 1000. It doesn't look good, lacks AIO compatability and lacks airflow, build quality is good though just bad design. Oh yeah and m-atx motherboards in an ATX case is a major OCD thing of mine, IMO it doesn't belong lol
I have r5 5600 as well and cheap 50 dollar deep cool air cooler my temps (ex: playing BG3) go no higher than 45 -50 my GPU can hit 80 gets and takes off like a rocket and will cool down to 70 for hrs of play time
i would recommend you should also consider thermal pads to save the customer even more headaches and money inthe long run. Would of liked you to make a better effort anyhow looks great at theend still.

Why? That doesn't make any sense... You can clearly see by the design of the blades on those Artic fans, that those are Static Pressure fans, and those are meant to be mounted on the radiator or heatsink.
The Dark Rock 4 isn't really good with AM4 CPU, from experience... I did a few of them and never really got good temp, compare to something like the Thermalright assasin 120mm and its a lot smaller and easier to work with.
mATX in ATX case? I don't see a problem. People can live in a huge house all by themselves, but they call mATX in ATX dumb? Uhm... I don't get it. If it fits then where's the problem?
Personally fan of air cooled - reduces complexity & parts that can fail. Reduced cost for the overall solution where that savings could be used for big drive, more memory , higher SKU CPU, etc. Those are all far more tangible returns for the money..

@04:13 I swear that i see a couple of Noctuaa NA-SRC7 coming out of that NZXT hub, it makes me wonder if that wasn't part of the heat issue.
I had a few of these cases with my builds Corsair knew what they where doing when they came out with this cases
I have right now I have phanteks case, old school one ,same size as the Corsair but I have a Blu-ray drive to it
Nzxt are cool but not into them not enough airflow I know they fixed there cases but man they are not sturdy

It came out great. Too bad that aio tubes are a bit too long, but I guess they need to have them long enough for bigger cases.
I'm going to be building my new rig in the Antec C5 that's a hell of a case. Seven included fans can't go wrong with that for the price.
I've used Antec cases for quite a while now the Antec DF700 houses my latest build, will be transferring it to the C5 as well.

You can power fans from sata cables.

My son has ASRocks Sonic MATX mobo in an NZXT H7, and it looks great; cable management, and parts planning, go a long ways!
