I have watched every adaption of Meteor Garden/Boys Over Flowers and this adaptation is by far the messiest. Like I love the whole storyline of Meteor Garden and I've enjoyed every adaptation but I agree with you all. We shouldn't be making Thyme out to be an angel, sure he got rid of the red card but he needs to address his anger issues, insecurities and his jealous tendencies because those are not something you'd want in a partner full stop. I honestly started watching this series not because of BrightWin (sure it was nice to see them in another series) but because I wanted to check out what the Thai adaptation would be like. I do like the series so far but there are major issues with the characters and their inner issues. Love your reactions as always though! I watch all adaptation too and this version is not messy like the other...In MG 2001 the Male lead harassed the female lead and kiss her forcibly same happen with MG 2018. In BOF Korea 2009 the male lead cause the student to jump from the rooftop, order some student to sexually harassed the female lead, grabbing her collar when he's angry and he also kiss her forcibly. Thyme and Tsukasa is the Male lead who never hurt the Female lead physically...I think you didn't watch the Japanese version (Hana Yori Dango) bcoz F4 Thailand just follow their storyline.
I don't know, I take Gorya not getting almost raped by Thyme any day. LOL All the other versions, except the Japanese version have an almost rape scene between the main leads. He's not innocent, of course not but his story is most detailed and well written compared to the other versions.

We got to see more of F4 friendship in this one and Ren, Nani & Kavin were more involved. This one actually showed character development. The male leads in the other versions were toxic and brutal.
Talkin' abt "messiest", 😆 Among all of the versions of F4, this version of Thailand stands out to me the most. F4 Thailand was the best out of all the remakes and it was even rated #1 out of them all and I can see why. Love how they took out the fillers and went straight into the details plus Thyme is not as brutal as his other versions. We got to see more F4 friendship in here which I love. Hi guys, i usually enjoy your reactions (not really about this one) i follow your channels and I think you all give genuine reactions and honest opinions about what you're watching. The thing about f4 thailand tho is that i think that maybe y'all focused on the superficial aspect of every charter (I'm not trying to offend you or disrespect you in any way I just want to share MY PERSONAL thoughts about this). What I mean by that is that, focusing on the three main characters as thyme, gorya and ren, which the story revolved around until last episode at least, these three are extremely misunderstood, First, Ren, I knew as soon as the show started that people were going to prise I'm like some kind of angel that can do nothing wrong but honestly, even tho I really like him, I knew he was not what showed, maybe it was because I watched the Korean version of the show, and I knew some of the other ones so I already kind of knew his character, but they way they portrayed him was screaming "Ren is the good one" which to me is not, first because everyone keeps on blaming the red card on thyme and thyme only when all four are to blame, kavin an mj enjoyed watching all the mess happening, thyme.. Well was thyme and Ren even though he wasn't particularly amused he didn't really do anything to stop it or stop thyme. Second, in the last two episodes he was being manipulative and a bit selfish towards gorya, even though she decided to give up her feelings in order to make him happy and be with the one he loved, when he came back he used that feelings that he knew she had for him to replace mira, to try to forget her and cope with his feelings knowing that he was leading on gorya and knowing that he didn't have feelings for her and he knew he was confusing gorya because her feelings for thyme where growing. And lastly the thing he did to make thyme confess his feelings was a bit messed up if you ask me, we know that thyme isn't exactly the type of person that talks about what he really feels freely, but I think that if he took the time to let thyme cool off a bit and clear his thoughts, he could've simply talked to him because at the end of the day, even though all f4 are really close to each other, I think that thyme and Ren share a special bond and after a bit he would've easily opened up to him because Ren is the one that gets him the most among the four of them in my opinion yet he decided to use thyme anger (which his an serious issue) to his advantage.
As for thyme I think he's a complex character, if you get him you like him, if you don't get him you don't like him or sure you can not like him anyway (DISCLAIMER!! I will not justify his actions nor agree with them, I'll just analyze his character and share my thoughts) Thyme is the type of character that as soon as you see him you think "oh no he's the handsome asshole piece of shit that she's gonna choose anyway" which he is but he's a lot more too. I think it's really easy to see that thyme in reality is a good person with a big heart, even tho he doesn't show it he cares deeply about his friends, about his sister and even his mother since he literally created this whole asshole persona just not to disappoint his mother and to prove her that he's not a failure, he himself said that he hates the kind of person he was and what he did just to prove himself that he could have at least one thing under his control, which shows that he was self conscious about himself. I agree that thyme needs help with his anger issues but is not something to bash him for, actually I think it helps making his charter more realistic and relateble in some type of way, he was never thought how to cope with is negative feelings, his mother basically neglected him his whole life, his sister is not at home, and it's not like she could do much because of their mother, his friends just let him do what he wants, before gorya no one really told him "no, stop, what you're doing is wrong" and told him why was wrong. I understand how he felt in the latest episodes because he's constantly under a huge mental pressure, on one side there's his mother that brings out the worst of him on purpose, "go back to your old self" she said, because it's more convenient for her own business and he doesn't want to disappoint her, but on the other side there's the first and only girl that he ever loved that brings out the best of him and makes him want do do and be better, and yes as Ren said, thyme is one the right right track, he changed a lot since the first episode, and his growth it's very realistic, we can not expect him to become some type of saint just like that especially since he was used to be how he was his whole life, growing and learning from our own mistakes takes time but he's getting there. As for the last episode that came out I had different feelings while watching but first off I don't think he got mad "just because the girl he likes doesn't like him back" because he already knew and accepted it, I believe that right there and there he felt frustrated, he was lied to and misunderstood by the girl he liked but was able to put that aside and try to reach out to her and explain himself putting his ego aside (which he never did before) but seeing her with his best friend snapped something in him, I think he felt somewhat betrayed? I don't justify the way he basically used that poor dude just to take out his anger, and I believe that gorya should've just let him go, because yes he was creating a mess in the meanwhile but at least he was leaving and isolating himself and at the time he was bottling up a lot of his frustration but having her basically screaming at him and pointing the finger at him only built up his anger made him rage, and honestly I understand that type of anger, when we're that angry we all say and do things we shouldn't be doing and saying and the fact that he was about to hit her shocked me but I felt somewhat relieved (?) after when he didn't because the fact alone that he stopped showed me the he knew he was wrong and he shouldn't be doing that, and I don't know why but part of me believes that if it was early episodes thyme, he would've not hit her but pushed her or something, again I am not justifying him at all, and I don't agree with his way of doing most of the things, I just understand him, I'm a huge over thinker and that cause me to over analyze everything and everyone, and I feel kind of sad when people assume that just because you don't hate thyme you're some kind of delusional delulu that likes him just because of his looks, there might be some people like that out there but let's not generalize, some people knowledge his wrong doings they simply don't bash him for it because at the end of the day we all make mistakes, in the show every single one of them made mistakes, and the main problem is the lack of communication but that's the point of the whole thing, growing, learning from your mistakes, communication and understanding are the base of this show. (to clear things up in my mind cuz I don't think I understand you enough) How would you cure a kid with mental issues that's ACTUALLY rich, has that much power to create every mess from their own flaws, with that, noone dares to stop them, or even acknowledge their mental issues, the only friends they have is also a spoiled rich kid. A naive 16 yrs old girl, strong and brave, doesn't have any power, willing to take a risk involving herself with those people to stop the action they've done, she can't quit the school because of the family expectation. How would you make them, to the point, be together? I mean, "the love" can happen with literary every person. They point a lot of things here too, the inequality, bad parenting, mental breakdown, bullying, the toxicity clearly isn't supported here in this show, with all the music and the character expression, everyone aware of that. Just how would you make it acceptable (cuz u see, many people like it) and also entertaining, with all the flaws character? For me, they are on the right track. And if you don't like it, like the other comments, you shouldn't make reaction to it. Good you call out everything that's wrong/toxic. She yelled at him, but still forgave him too fast. His mom/upbringing didn't help the way he is, but still he shouldn't have done the things he did, being a douche, raising his fist at her, all the bullying and red cards etc. She shouldn't have lied, so they are both messy, and he needs a lot of time to redeem himself and maybe this can come out good in the end, but for now they can bee annoying together... The fight between F4 beating each other up, Just for Thyme to admit he loves her, as you said, Ren could have done something else/better to get that result. I have a feeling, that his mom might either say "I can do this and this for you/give you a lot of money that could help your family, if you stay away from Thyme" or that if Gorya knows What's best for her, she'll stay away from Thyme, or pretend she is all supportive but then do something bad, and maybe introduce Thyme to a girl she thinks is better for him. I actually find Kavin and Khaning cute together, if he can stop playing around.

The show isn't for everyone. This is my first BoF series, and I'll admit I only started watching it because of BrightWin. The bullying irks me, the toxicity and the volatility of the characters, everything. I know where the story is going, I'm sure it'll 100% get better. So I'ma put my faith in the cast and crew, the sponsors(coz there's a whooole lot of them in the outro), and the dedicated fans of the franchise. There must be a reason there's like a thousand remakes of this show over 3 decades.
And if you peep..we only call out the bullying and the misconduct of the character! Who wants someone like that? Do you? I’d hope not. I love the version I saw and it’s def different in its own right while some similarities but if we see some mess, we call that out and that’s just period! A lot of fans are only watching because it’s brightwin and that’s fine as you should but remember to take off those rose colored glasses when you do and really get into what’s going on!

Good you call out everything that's wrong/toxic. She yelled at him, but still forgave him too fast. His mom/upbringing didn't help the way he is, but still he shouldn't have done the things he did, being a douche, raising his fist at her, all the bullying and red cards etc. She shouldn't have lied, so they are both messy, and he needs a lot of time to redeem himself and maybe this can come out good in the end, but for now they can bee annoying together... The fight between F4 beating each other up, Just for Thyme to admit he loves her, as you said, Ren could have done something else/better to get that result. I have a feeling, that his mom might either say "I can do this and this for you/give you a lot of money that could help your family, if you stay away from Thyme" or that if Gorya knows What's best for her, she'll stay away from Thyme, or pretend she is all supportive but then do something bad, and maybe introduce Thyme to a girl she thinks is better for him. I actually find Kavin and Khaning cute together, if he can stop playing around.
Thyme is a mess. In what world is it acceptable to almost hit your girlfriend because she doesn't do what you want? The fans keep saying he is redeeming himself. Bruh how?!

The show isn't for everyone. This is my first BoF series, and I'll admit I only started watching it because of BrightWin. The bullying irks me, the toxicity and the volatility of the characters, everything. I know where the story is going, I'm sure it'll 100% get better. So I'ma put my faith in the cast and crew, the sponsors(coz there's a whooole lot of them in the outro), and the dedicated fans of the franchise. There must be a reason there's like a thousand remakes of this show over 3 decades.
And if you peep..we only call out the bullying and the misconduct of the character! Who wants someone like that? Do you? I’d hope not. I love the version I saw and it’s def different in its own right while some similarities but if we see some mess, we call that out and that’s just period! A lot of fans are only watching because it’s brightwin and that’s fine as you should but remember to take off those rose colored glasses when you do and really get into what’s going on!

It's like watching BL or any other genre for that matter. If you see something you don't like or don't feel comfortable with, of course you're gonna clock it. Even more so when you're watching with friends and everyone wants to chime in. I just see 4 besties trying to have a good time watching a show that you kinda know where it's going, so you're just trying your best to enjoy the bumpy bumpy ride.

the show is about transformation and coming-of-age it's obvious to have many flawed characters bcoz that's the point they transform, grow, and develop their character..how they analyze it is so off and laughing on a serious scene is so annoying...they clearly hate the show and they keep reacting to it 🤣 I feel sad for them they don't understand the story and the struggle of each characters.
