Y’all are so deprived of good preforming in kpop that y’all forgot this is what an artist is supposed to do when performing. This is sad. Because only 2nd gen groups are keeping the art of performing alive in this new age of kpop. I grew up performing and would get yell at if I didn’t make facials and obviously those have to change when there’s an outfit change because you are portraying a character. Which each costume change key is represented a different character. So therefore he has to change facials to fit the persona of each character. This use to be ingrained in every performer. This is why you also have stage names bc you are playing a character on stage. You’re basically playing multiple characters at once. 1) yourself 2) your stage self 3) character concept 4) the character persona in each outfit It takes great stage presence to pull this off and key of course has it. Because he comes from a generation where it was a MUST to have. Agencies didn’t just go off looks but talent first and foremost! This is why 2nd gen has more diversity in the looks department and a huge range of talent compared to today generation, everything is literally copy & paste I saw all this to say it’s always weird to me when I see comments praising what an artist is supposed to be doing at the bare minimum. Prince Key is a vocal powerhouse. He is so good I had to make sure he wasn't lip syncing but this is unreal. And this style of futuristic cross between Prince and Knight is something not a lot idols can pull off. It gives regal, but also delicate. I can see his buddy Taemin and his buddy Ten rocking this beautifully. Virtuoso true artist with charisma that kills. I am happy I live to see this performances.
I love that he has 3 different headpiece accessories for this fit: the long thick one that goes over his hair, the medium length one that goes under his bangs, and now this petite short one that goes under his har for stage performances.

Not sure if this outfit made him feel more like a badass or he had to be more strong bc of those stringy things flinging around his eyes~ but I felt like he put extra power & aggression into his moves. Even though I've seen the other Gasoline stages, I somehow felt like each cut of this performance was a new side to it? Key's ability to express nuance in his performance is what makes him a master of the stage.
