It's absolutely OK to show frustration, bottling it up doesn't do anyone any good. Lots of time effort & money goes into sorting a car and getting to an event. I would be exactly the same if it were me, so long as you take it no further, no harm done at all.

Hats off for the class C performance. Looking forward to the next mr2 race. To say the cars been build around the cows in a shed, and there were purpose built race cars there you can’t be annoyed with that can you.

Norfolking about seems to be working. I’m sure the MR2 races went well the week after! I went to the MR2 races at Silverstone yesterday to see it in real life. You definitely have the ability to really make a challenge for that championship next year, if that fits in with your plans. Great video as always. Glad you’re keeping it up 👍🏼

Hey Danny.👋 I always thought NA stood for Naturally Aspirated, but now I know NA = Norfolking About.😉 Being able to go back and watch the video and the telemetry to see what works best is a huge advantage. The science doesn't lie. Sucks how they bumped you (and Kevin) into the next class, but you knew what you had to do even if it felt impossible. Well I'll just be damned if you didn't execute the perfect start!👏👏 Also, the fact that you not only managed to keep pace with competitors with much more powerful cars, but actually gave them a run for their money is so damn impressive! Brilliant driving, sir!👌 Giving yourself a pep talk during the race, talking in 3rd person, and telling the guy he owes you a windscreen for the new stone chip... all fantastic and hilarious.😂 Also loved the Trailer Park Boys clips. Good stuff, Dan. Shame about the moron Cunterh'm driver... about as useless as an oil slick. Still, amazing day and great race on your part. You and the MR2 appear to be just about as dialed in as can be. Totally, enjoyed this one, mate.😎👍 Have a good week ahead.

Great video, you're certainly punching now with the mr2.
Watching that, being moved upto class C made it both much more af a real challenge for you, which you rose to and made cracking content. Not sure if it would have been anywhere near as entertaining if they had left you in D and you were just lapping your nearest competitor. Shows how well you and the mr2 are set up. You nearly won the class and probably would've if it hadn't been for Malcom x in the Caterham. Keep doing what your doing, great to see you progressing so well.

Caterham was a complete fool! The invitational guys should have a bit more respect and not put other drivers at risk of losing positions or worse damaging their cars or themselves. He should not have been on track driving like a complete idiot
Caterfields need to stick to their own race series and hillclimb/sprints. They're a menace to other drivers.
Love the senna quote on overtaking the two Citroens, thought maybe the Häkkinen clip taking Schumacher & Zonda would have been a good fit too!

*Now then Dan! Well done on an excellent result and for keeping your cool in trying circumstances! Hopefully Mr Caterham will learn from his mistakes (quickly!) and this will soon be a distant memory. I last drove Snetterton many years ago, although I did a few passenger laps crammed into a pals E30 M3 race car. It was bloody uncomfortable though and I just wanted it to be over! Hopefully though, I'll be back out on track myself next year as I've just bought a tidy MX5 NC which I plan to prep' over the winter. Thanks, in no small part, to keeping my interest alive by watching your channel. The plan is to try and use it to raise awareness and some donations to the homeless charity that I work for and possibly offering some passenger laps at Castle Combe and entering some local speed events here in Cornwall. Mind you, I'm a way off that yet. Anyway, best of luck with the rest of the season Dan and thanks for taking the time to post the vids and the excellent edits. Mark B* 🏁🏎

A constant stream of red flags due to them spinning off
Unwilling to yield to the faster car behind because it's worth much less
Generally driven very poorly but as the owners go by the logic of "My driving talent is judged by my wallet size" they're unwilling to accept they're just really poor at it and never improve, thus ruining the day for everyone else.
I could go on all day listing all their failings but take what you've seen in Dan's video and those 3 examples I've given and you'll get a general idea.
@@jonff1234 I have owned a number of track cars including a caterham. Its usually worse in a caterham as many people don't understand that if you catch them, you're quicker and don't like being passed by a bathtub (most caterhams dont have the straight line speed as the average M straight line hero). I totally agree this bellend is not doing much to help the 7's but theres plenty of shit moves in the mr2 series and 750's by other cars (see other videos of dan being crashed into).
I did >10 trackdays a year in my caterham with a group and we almost never the ones causing red flags. It was mostly badly prepared race cars from the MSV days I did.

Well the caterham driver certainly was folking about, awful driving, you did very well only calling him a moron! Lets hope he doesnt get anymore invites. I had great fun watching your video. Well done on getting 2nd in class after getting bumped up. It seems like the Chat was a newer driver for all the mistakes or at least a new car to the driver which might have explained some of the on track stupidity.
Is the Pit required for the classes? Do you have to refuel or is it just a timed stop?

The invitationals should be more courteous, especially the Caterham who was being unsafe, but you did really well mate, top notch racecraft and increase in pace. 5 seconds off a lap at Snetterton!! Dan - you should have a go at actual caterham series, it is much closer racing than the mr2's and its not all bellends like this. 310r or one of the others like mag 7's/toyos would be ideal

Mega driving, seems a bit daft to move people up and down classes based on driver performance when it's set up around bhp/ton but that's motorsport I guess, daft at times. Great vid

The class structure change is absolute bullshit, surely the class is the class, if youve developed the car all within the rules/limits and you are driving well and happen to be faster than anyone else that racing! You’ve earned it. Why punish people who do well, id be absolutely fuming.
In the same rules if you happen to have a fast car but youre a slow driver, should they move you down a class to make you “competitive”

Yeah pretty annoying but it is what it is, made me drive a good bit harder for sure though, whether or not that's a good thing...
Regarding onboard camera, maybe u can use a proper good 2k resolution dashcam like ddpai x5 pro or ddpai z40 and then wire it straight to the fusebox....

Do the organisers not weigh/dyno the vehicles like 750mc? I can understand reclassifying a TCR or purpose built chassis being considered OP. But the MR2 and Integra clearly being original road cars with no/ minimal aero.
In this one we self declare our power and weight but I don’t think it’s ever been checked. Quite a new series to be fair so still finding it’s feet (with a common/popular format)
