Hi Luis, thank you so much for this video and I truly appreciate your feedback. As to why my emotions seemed intense, I really was to the point of crying because the whole journey was nothing short of touching for me. I got to deeply connect once again with my roots and genuinely make my 63-year old Ilonggo parents proud. Again, thank you so much for this. 🤍✨
I can only imagine how much your journey meant to you. It’s inspiring to see how passionate you are! Keep up the good work and best of luck at MUPH ❤️ Be my guest soon for an interview 🫶🏼
Wow, it's the 1st time I hear of a place called Iloilo. But for me. The 1st one had the best answer 😍. And I totally agree. So many contestants end with that rehearsed "And I stand here today ......". That and the empathy card are overplayed in my personal view.
Karen is not a crowd favorite that night but since she won plenty of special awards - it felt like she is really destined to win. I don't really know her or followed her unlike last year, i followed Alexi. But, when she answered the question - i already know that she will be the winner. Though, she may not be like the Alexi prototype..but she is the most ready to represent Iloilo in comparison to the other girls. When i was watching them in person, i can really see that she's the most ready and calm. I also like the answer of #3 but I feel like I already heard that answer and it felt like rehearsed. So, the reason why I like the answer of #1 than #3 is I guess it is so simple and authentic. And being someone who is new in Iloilo - the food is really something that Iloilo will offer and KBL is actually now one of my favorite cuisine here. 😅 #1 just really need to work more on her pasarela and she's good to go. I will be cheering and watching for her ❤ I am excited to see her transformation in the national pageant stage!! Go go go Karen! 🔥
KBL or kadyos, baboy, langka is a Hiligaynon dish that originated and popular (especially in the provinces) in Western Visayas consist of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental. 💖
While appreciated the winning answer, It bothered me that the winner had so much airtime. If they were waiting for the final question, why not kill time by asking each of them short rounds of question to break their nerves OR interview all 3 of them together. Meanwhile there were about 10 special awards given out that night and it was handed to mainly to 2 people. So Although this is just a local pageant. It arguably happens every year especially in the PH. Pageantry wants everyone to see its legitimate and fair but it leaves a lot of room for people to criticize it.
That was exactly my opinion too when the candidate number 3 has extended her answer with redundancy and irrelevance 😅shes supposed to win for me if she closes her answer as her alpha onset

The second contestant is a lawyer. She seemed nervous, which might explain why she answered the way she did.
I'm happy Luis catch some Filipino slangs😂
Why she on the point of cryin’?
Hello, I really cry so easily I’m sorry 😢 hahahahahah but I explained more in my comment on this video 🤍
