Cordlife's director, Mr. Zhai Lingyun, was arrested amid investigations into mishandling cord blood units, bringing the total arrests to nine. Seven storage tanks exposed to high temperatures damaged at least 2,150 clients' cord blood units, potentially affecting another 17,000.
The company is addressing these issues, cooperating with authorities, and maintaining operations while reassessing board members and testing affected samples.
