A tip for anyone who mostly struggles with the traps (particularly the physical ones) in Lab: If you use Araakali and Ralakesh pantheons, the damage those traps do to you is SIGNIFICANTLY reduced (Gift of the Goddess traps do roughly what Uber Lab traps do w/o). I used to have a ton of trouble with them when I was newer (i.e. if a sawblade hit me, I for some reason would keep running into it as it moved) but ever since I always specced those pantheons before doing Merc or Uber lab (or above), it stopped being a problem. This is even better in 3.16 as Arakaali is now 10% instead of 5%.
So the think I prefer more with you teaching instead of Mr khans teachings is that your expectation of players understanding of why and how is supstantially lower. So Mr khan said that it's 3 helm enchants but did not preface this by saying stuff like " so before you want to go into one of the late game labs, make sure you have plenty of helmets" etc. He is very knowlagable but I think it was quite hard to follow, like when he says lab, does it mean all labs? Just the last one?
Hey Kristoffer, this is incredibly helpful feedback for me! I really appreciate you taking the time to help future me help future everyone learn in a better way. I’m honestly not thrilled with my delivery for a lot of this, so I’ll try my best to give a more detailed update after the 3.15 changes. I definitely had a hard time gauging a new player’s level of understanding and balancing that with giving information to existing + veteran players, and I’ll work on that going forward.

The video is very good for people who understand what labs is and people who have a baseline understanding as to why to do labs, aswell as you meaning the later labs rather then just "labs in general", but for people who are newer to the game and/or maybe dont do a lot of labs and dont understand the importance of the enchants etc might have a harder time understanding what excactly you mean! You are talking to teenagers when you need to talk to kids is basicly what im trying to get at :D especially for a 101. If this was a 102 im sure your teaching style would fit a lot better! That’s awesome dude! Unpopular opinion: i love labs Heist and lab runners can bond because we both run unpopular stuff, tho heist objectively offers more variety of play and might even be more profitable? Hard to say. Either way, much respect my dude.

@@zxkredo I am definitely against giving jewels to the #1 runner. I respect Hammer a lot, he is one of the most helpful and more knowledgeable persons I’ve met in PoE. However, gaiting a jewel behind a lab race is not great when load times are the secret to winning. (Even Hammer agrees with that). I was definitely talking about the lab ladder website. It brought together the lab runners. We knew who was running and we could exchange ideas more easily. It was kind of like the PoE Ninja for labbers :) It was fun to try to race other runners for the 2-20 placements (because nobody was gonna beat hammer and we all knew that) Also, selfishly, my stream was first found because that lab ladder website used to show a twitch icon if you were streaming! 😜
@@zxkredo Hahaha that makes sense. They very silently removed it in 3.14 as a consequence of removing the race. Perhaps the removal makes sense if only a handful of us were using it! Still sad though.
i dont get how he can move so fast and never get stuck if im on a decent amount of movement speed i allways get stuck for .2 sec somewhere from time to time O,o
Probably because he's a controversial figure in the community. A large ammount of the lab runners seem to be under the agreement that he is somehow cheating, his times are just too much faster than everyone elses that it doesn't quite add up. GGG deciding to stop rewarding him with that jewel because nobody could compete seems to indicate GGG also believes he was doing something not ethical. Now I'm not saying he was for sure doing anything wrong, but that Ziz probably avoided including him because of that potential controversy.
@@joaksannan551 We know how we did, he was using a launch argument to save on load times, no cheating, just ggg fucking up the code. Basically you run lab once, loading every single room in memory then you can instant load everytime. Also ggg never removed his rewards, they just fixed their system which was flawed (giving only to first is retarded).
