- U.S. Agent is the latest card to arrive in Marvel Snap, and I tried him out in a High Evolutionary Affliction deck with some absolutely fantastic early results.

Power Estimate: This deck had a monster 13-2 run for me, landing at an 87% win rate through the first 15 games. That shows a ton of promise, so I'm excited to see if this still looks powerful as more data rolls in. U.S. Agent seemed like an important part of the deck in many games, but the verdict is still out overall on the card's power level.

Just a thought...if you played Valkyrie in the same lane as US Agent, wouldn't their 4, 5 and 6 power cards then have 0 power?

I don't know if Debrii does much here. I would consider a Rogue to counter Luke Cages and even Super Skrulls, because they kill the deck.
I was thinking this as well. Debree is good for clogging and extra negatives on the rocks with Man thing/cyclops but a tech card like rogue/enchantress/super skrull/shang chi/ maybe echo “echo is cope lol” would be better in that slot in more circumstances.
Skrull could take their cage to level, Shang chi I don’t have to explain, enchantress could kill their luke and a lot of things. Rogue would be my preferred sub though at a cost to cost swap. Love me some rogue.
If Colossus got a boost, he'd be a great addition to this sort of deck.
@@stevenburns918 I actually use Collosus in a toxic ongoing spectrum deck with Wong/hazmat. Can be clunky but if I just have hazmat/luke/spectrum it’s fine. If I also have Wong it’s a wrap. But the deck plays super well into curve and I wouldn’t mind swapping Collosus out for US Agent. Or swapping out lizard for him. Tbh I’d actually prefer swapping out lizard so I have one less card super dependent on Luke.
Deck is actually one of my favorite conquest decks. Almost took it through infinity a couple times but lost on round 4 and 5 both times :/.

The way I like to set up is spread the small ongoings 2-3 in two locations and then sera/wong/hazmat/spectrum into a third. You’ll get a solid 6-8 power swing in the other two locations and have 23 in the wong location plus negative -2 on whatever opp has there so can be an upwards of 25 power swing in your favor on the wong location. People expect hazmat but they do not expect spectrum. I’ve been considering swapping Shang chi for rogue. Rogue is better for conquest but Shang for ladder.
Knowing how Regis big brains the math whenever I watch I feel so good when he completely ignores and forgets about Electro after talking about him like 10 seconds earlier. 😂😂

This is not an awful card. It's niche but also [2] energy which doesn't ask a lot to potentially be [at best] a 2/15. On average this has afflicted [2] cards on the opponent's side and can be a cool 2/9.
I could see fit in a weird Serra Ctrl. Turn 6 this is [1] energy to completely nuke a lane[?]

Scorpion during first game also kept the venom from being 20 power
I almost used my tokens on the Agent. I love Hazmat decks and have been running a HighEvo Hazmat on reveal deck for a while that looks a lot like this. Might have to pick him up it looks like a good adition.
Well, shit, I accidentally got US Agent in my key chests because I was trying to fish for the Jeff variant, so I guess I better build this deck just to get some use out of him.

A lot of us shuri players are running wave now because there's an alternate winning line if you never draw shuri. turn 3 wave, turn 4 red hulk, turn 5 task master, turn 6 magneto is really strong.
all of that just for chi to eat (speaking as a red shuri player)

@@jonathanwhite6747 Yeah, apparently USAGent was bugged, and A LOT of people couldn't get him even after spending 4 whole Keys.
So maybe they decided to directly remove it momentarily, to fix the bug atleast.
Let's hope for a compensation tho.

You should try sera agent control! Such a powerful deck with a lot of synergy... the list: zabu, lizard, agent, cage, viper, killmonger, sentry, typhoid marry, enchantress, manthing, shang, sera.
I though USAgent was gonna be wack but I tried it with this deck and I’ve been winning more than losing, thank you Regis you’re the goat when it comes to building decks! 🔥

I didn't get red hulk out of spite but as the cache rotation changed I decided to try for him but I was like a minute off and didn't realize. I now have US Agent

@@thesamuraiman Red Hulk day one had become my least favorite card in snap. The amount of frustrated sighs I've let out when I see the red guy power up is astounding. I've gone this far not running Shang Chi but now it feels like a requirement

Just a thought but could us agent be best utilized possibly by playing him round 5-6….possibly with man thing, Valkyrie or hazmat or EVO thing….im thinking there’ll be less retreats this way and I’m sure not many players atm are expecting us agent……I’m excited to give him a go once the spotlight caches are back up & running again.
Played something similar with Thanos Goose and Mockingbird and it actually handled really well

The thunderbolts seem broken when well combined. Especially Red Guardian canceling their ability and lowering their power 😐
Knowing that the first game is usually pretty wild I was ready for US Agent to carry bar sinister but I never expected that!

What happened at the end of the last game? Did Luke Cage reset their power retroactively? He can do that?
If he's in play you can't have cards with reduced power. Doesn't matter if the reduction happened before he was played or to cards in your hand via scorpion.

I'm begging Marvel Snap card artists to learn that when bullets are fired from a gun, they no longer are attached to the casing. A Luke Cage and Ant Man variant have the same problem

I'm impressed. Not impressed enough to spend a key. But admire the deck.
I took out Spiderwoman and replaced her with Lady Deathstrike. She absolutely cooks in this deck…with their cards power so reduced from the rest of the deck, she can take out so many cards!
Had 2 spare keys to go for him. Got the Jeff variant and pixie. A little disappointed bc I wanted to give him a shot.

Love the deck but unfortunately it's very tough to play it in this meta. You'd need Shang Chi on the list to counter Red Hulk. Alioth might also be a good fit.
I would switch nebula and misty with wasp or shocker or zabu or hazmat

It does not lose mid. I go -4 from Man-Thing, they go +6 from losing Man-Thing, and even more from Cyclops.

Question: does abomination effect counts ongoing effects? Specifically talking about US Agent and Man-Thing, since the opponents are not "afflicted" per se, it's like if they landed on negative zone or something like that, afflicted is more like when scorpion or wasp or cyclops hits opponent cards.
I believe they do since it counts for locations like the sewer

Just didn't really seem to fit the curve. Not good on 2, and hard to weave in late when we have big cards to play late with SW, Thing, MT, and need to float with Cyclops often.
Basically Agent let's you afflict while still being solid on curve I think.

Bro, in the week that ghost spider was on o got that shitty ass Ms Marvel variant instead of ghost spider!! Funny thing is: that Ms. Marvel variant was gonna be released THE WEEK AFTER!!! I got SCAMMED and lost a new series 5 card for a shit variant of a season pass card. I got ao mad i almost dropped the game
I haven't gotten any of the featured cards since Proxima. I've turned in 2-3 caches a week and have gotten a variant of a card I already had or the card duplicate. I have received 700 collector tokens from the spotlight in the last 6 weeks
After this season I am quitting snap. Only going to finish up because I paid for the season pass.

If you're playing the odds, you should expect to lose. Pay attention to future releases and save your keys for what you want. If you expect to get every single new spotlight card, you're going to be disappointed. It just doesn't work that way.
