Love what Mondo is doing with MOTU... especially Mer-Man, my first one on pre-order. A beautiful piece of art I tell ya! And the payment plan is nice. 👍

The mechas are what excite me the most from Mondo
Every time Mondo shows a new figure I immediately fall in love with it, I like that they do their own interpretation on the licenses, the concept, sculpting, painting, articulation and packaging seems to be directed specifically to collectors. The price point wouldn't bother me if the final product was a high end limited action figure but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. Only the exclusives are limited (I could live with that) and the actual final product has rookie mistakes every time, be it painting, sculpting or articulation there seems to be at least one major issue with every item. The TMNT articulation was very bad and they seemed to be lacking in the quality control department, the He-man difference in color between the head and the rest of the body was completely impossible to ignore, with that price range those are unforgivable mistakes. I just hope Mondo overcomes all those issues and becomes the high end action figures for collectors company that will surpass all the others, at least in the USA, the Asian are just on a completely different level... for now.
Well, the HT website is selling the Regular Skeletor. I contacted HT about the exclusive and they have no idea what I'm talking about. Good Grief.

Oh my Gawd!!!!! I had no thoughts on collecting the Mondo line but that new Batman and Catwoman animated I must get!!! If I get those then I have to get the rest.
These are the figures I'd honestly collect. Less action figure than display piece but hot dang.

Ive always wanted King hiss to have a cape.
Those are some beautiful toys, but for those prices, I could never justify a purchase.
Hordak's missing a Wired red cape or black cape he'd look much better with the Option.

Mondoids: Ok, you've got a melting Stripe from Gremlins...terrifying. You've got the gruesome monstrous Venom...very scary. You have the hideous Alien...horrifying. You've got Jason Voorhees...monstrous. Then you've got those two jackass characters from Adventure time. How did that song go again? Two of these things are not like the others. Two of these things just don't belong.
They look so cool but man are they really worth the hefty price tag?

Any word on what happened with the Shredder and Casey Jones they had been teasing last year?
These are way cooler than the He-Man and Skeletor they already did. I think because they aren't the main characters, you can take more liberties and they still kinda work. The 2 Dan already reviewed though are trash, but these, especially that Hordak, are sweet. I hope these are what they look like in the 2021 movie.

1/6 scale figures shouldn't be that high in price, NO WAY! I love the details on the figures, but these are clearly rip off prices though. These companies won't last long showing off nice looking but expensive goods if the prices aren't reasonable!
Hot Toys and Sideshow at the same scale are well over $200. These are pretty reasonably priced imo.
ShawnDeath yeah i agree, i have many hot toys figures and i also have He-Man, Skeletor and im waiting for Faker and Merman from Mondo, and to be honest they are such amazing figures, they are way better in person than what they look like in videos, they are worth every penny. Everything about this 1/6 scale MOTU line is amazing, the level of quality is very high, the details are just insane...just look at the details on He-Man's sword, its crazy....and everything about these figures is like that, i really love those figures, they are already one of my all time favorite Masters of the universe figures. Some people might think they are a bit too expensive, but its only because they never got these figures in hands, because they are worth every penny
Mondo makes most of their money in posters and records. So even if these don’t do that great, the company will still be fine.
The He-Man and Skeletor also sold out, and the Mondo exclusive for Faker also sold out I believe. So there is a market for these at these price points.

Mondo always cancels their lines early. (Madballs, TMNT etc.) They'll be cheaper on Ebay in 2 years.
