Still sound amazing GREAT!! I've been a fan since I was 11 years old, growing up in Southern California. Now a grandmother in Northern California. Hope to see them with the Happy Together tour this summer at the California State Fair.
It's cool watching Larry Ramos' brother perform with Jim, but I miss watching Larry Ramos, most underrated singer/performer who was so phenomenal a component to Associations sound and visuals. Jim Yester is lead performer in every way.
How many of the original members are still alive ? Among these guys on the video which are original members of this incredible and unforgettable group ?
I knew The Wrecking Crew did all the actual instrumental music on the records but I was surprised to see them sound as good as they do...the vocals were good
I saw them LIVE a number of times in the 60s. Their instrumentation, decades ago, was still VERY GOOD. Sometimes I wonder if The Wrecking Crew being used was IMPOSED on some groups because that's the way the "game" was played back then. My experience of the Association, in concert, involved them being as good and entertaining as they were when I listened to the original vinyl!!

I have to assume that right channel scratching is some sore of watermark - it's in your other video as well - wrecked an otherwise great video of a great band.
Terry was long retired by the time of this show, as was Russ Giguere, and Ted Bluechel Jr. Brian Cole and Larry Ramos had passed away!! A cool note is that Brian's son, Jordan, has played organ in the band for several years!!
@@tantraman10 Keyboardist Richard Thompson (not to be confused with the British guitarist of the same name) died several years ago. He appeared on the group’s last two albums, “Stop Your Motor” and. “Waterbeds in Trinidad.”
@@tantraman10 I remember that Russ Giguere did a spot-on impression of Ed Sullivan when The Association performed on Ed Sullivan’s Sunday night show. Mr. Sullivan got a big laugh out of Russ’s impression of him. Have you read Russ Giguere’s biography of The Association? I read the first couple of chapters of the book on Kindle. I will order it from Barnes & Nobles.
@@bonzodog6872 Yeah, but he joined in 1967, when Jules went to India. So, he was with the band from Windy on...Then, when Jules came back, the "Six Man Band" became a "Seven Man Band!!"
My Windy song..ha ha .got it sang to me as a teen..LOVE THEM..❤🇬🇧
RI.P. Larry Ramos. We really missed you
Thank you, Jordan for being a great guy! Missing Brian Cole. 💐
What beautiful memories from this group from 1965 when I got to California from Cuba, just beautiful

Great sounding lineup. Jules and Jim are real troupers.
Man they sound GREAT!!!!!!!!!! after all these years
Excellent, very good harmony.
These guys still look & sound awesome! I always had a big crush on Jim Yester..but luv 'em all. Thx 4 this short clip 🙂🙂💕💕

I was in a band called "The YesterDaze". We had the honor to be the backup band for Jim Yester!
That was a good snippet of their concert. Excellent live.
Followed this band since 1966 I'm now 63.lol
One of the great groups of the 60's that made that era the " Last of the Best times"
Only two original members appearing here. Two have passed away. :-(

brilliant group and still have the harmonies
They sound 👌 great. 🎵🎼🎶
Sound so beautiful like at the old time. ❤️🌹

Why didn't Terry join them for this?
question... the title is The Association Live 2018... you posted this Oct 31, 2014???
Miss Terry here...
larry ramos the most unrated singer! his voice was the association
As músicas mais lindas de todos os tempos

Sounded fine to me.

Have you heard Mick Jagger or Paul McCartney lately?

I understand that Roger Daltrey is also not singing.
