The double cash food ticket is arguably better than 10K flat cash if you're an avid turf war player. As long as you're averaging at least 500p in turfed ink a match you'll at least break even on 20 straight losses, but there are at least a few weapons that can all but guarantee you're average will be higher than that.
aerospray will easily get you those points, and if you've already got some practice with aerospray it's guaranteed you'll get a decent amount of wins from it

There isn't an awful lot you "need" to buy, so if you have some cash on hand already, it shouldn't take too long to do 20 matches for better gains. @PlumBUMstudMUFFIN -- That's what I hear. I'll learn more when I eventually get around to grinding one for the stickers and other "freshness" star rewards. If nothing else, Fizzy Bomb is fun to use, and Reef Slider might help me get to enemy base faster to ink their turf. :) (Or get away faster when they try to splat me, either case theoretical and probably more wishful thinking.)

10k coins just isn't a lot. That's why I think it's a bad drop. Food tickets are better unless you have basically infinite amount of them. Think, you need 30k for a non-daily spin-out try. Coins have way more of a use in splatoon 3 than 2
I would agree with this comment if I was a month younger 🤣, but I'm broke as a homeless baby on a street bc I spent almost 200k on the gacha machine one day because I was buying nothing else. And I got to catalog 100 so I have almost no motivation to play except for spending 5k a day on the gamble ramble machine to try to get that sweet, sweet golden seasonal banner half the time, so I get pretty much no money.
Scrubbing a gear set costs 20k, not to mention leveling up star level of gear costs up to 30k (for the useful star upgrades) and i do both of those a LOT, so yes i’ll take that cash
as someone who has gone through 3 catalogs the first one was the best. I liked having unique stuff each level and fun stuff from the mystery box but the catalogs after than doesn’t give me the same feeling of excitement and I really don’t care for them each 10 levels
They should at the very least give decorated boxes as level 100 rewards for bonus catalogues too. At least getting conch shells during splatfests (including the sneak peek) helps make the levels mean something after completing the main one, because just one simple box every 10 levels is quite underwhelming.
My first 100’s rewards were the best, my second 100’s was just 5 and 10 K , 8 times and 2 stickers and 1 ability, starting my third 100 will see how it goes, I wish the rewards were more nicer to keep the motivation. Excellent video 👍👍.
I constantly get decorations I have already found from the drone, I think I may have gotten the 10k cash no more than three times, which is so annoying, I went from 70k eggs to 35k now and that's all I got that I cared about. Why would I want multiple eyes and kidneys???

I only get ability chunks from all the normal mystery boxes ive gotten, and im level 30 now.. i wish there were less tickets and maybe smaller doses of cash like in grizzco (5000 cash) and less tickets i wont use until my tickets with the bigger rewards run out.
Is there anywhere that confirmed the season 1 catalog goes away for players when season 2 hits? the way it's worded in game read to me that players who hadn't finished the season 1 catalog could finish it out, then start the season 2 catalog. I also assumed all previous incomplete catalogs would be available after you finished the current season's catalog. So if a new player joins in Season 3, they might get started with the season 3 catalog, but if they finish that before the season ends, they could choose a previous season catalog to start the backlog grind of rewards.
