This album practically saved my life whilst travelling in Borneo, got me through the anniversary of my brothers death and get's me to sleep when it feels like my world is caving in. I first heard it as I was driving down a winding dark road and I'll never be able to explain what it has done for me since then, just that I am very grateful for its creation.
I know its been 2 years since you said this, but I want you to know this: Your comment made me think that I also have been on many dark winding roads by myself, and I have been listening to this record... Over and over again. It just has something in it, something that I would call actual magic. The effect is even brought more to life if you are on a train, or a bus, and its gray and it's raining outside, while you are looking at the trees, buildings, people, and cities fly by. "The stolen view" could actually be quite literal, in that it is the experience it self, of someone, just experiencing a glimpse, a small view of something, maybe out of a window of a train, or bus, but that view is stolen, cause you dont feel like you own it. You just took that experience from the world, and while you "took" it, you exchanged light into energy (thoughts) P.S. Whatever krokodill or sniffing feces this guy Andrew Chesler is on, don't let him in on the bus with us.
I had a life project : Post - rock; tabletop games; comics n PC on line; cartografie n History; a job n quit smoking. It seems irealistic nowadays but with albums like this at least I dream. Thank you very much
Music just doesn't get any better then the 50:53 mark of "Totem and Tabu " "Absolute Brillance" :) Does anybody know if Leech is pushing out a new LP anytime soon ?
For me this is one of the best post-rock albums ever made. Amazing journey.
I happen to agree with you
Wang Wen and Leech are my absolute favorite albums. I"m also f*king curious about the story of this album.
@@birdsofvyraj92yeah, me too
I can recommend everybody to see this band live. They are among the best live experiences i ever had
