WEEK IN THE LIFE OF A NURSING STUDENT// exam week, 5am study routine, pumpkin spice latte's

Happy Sunday my loves! This week I started my new routine of waking up early to study, took my first peds exam, spent the week drinking pumpkin spice lattes and writing down my goals for October! Only 3 more months before 2022, and 7 more months until graduation, time flies!

Fellow senior nursing student here, and that critical thinking is something else. Thankfully, I have a preceptor for my senior practicum who is drilling it into me. She stays asking me why, what is priority here, what labs are we zeroing in on…and I love her for it. I’m learning so much from her during our shifts.

Also I cut my hair within the program and I felt a relief. Although I loved my hair. Nursing school was so depressing for me and I needed something new and it also was a confident booster.
