Here's a look in on the LIVE Broadcast of making a Music video for Gwen Stefani. Lizz Zanin called the shots, the crew/dancers/choreography and production team were all excellent and this was the 1st ever Music Video made LIVE on the air. It aired during the 58th Grammy Awards on 2/15/2016

I am so genuinely confused by how she fell on the rollerskates and then it immediately cuts to her being lifted in the air in the red dress. How did this happen? I’ve been trying to find footage of how they recovered but after watching this I still can’t figure it out lol

Gwen left via a door to the right (out of frame) and a stand-in model was waiting to take her place. It was a switcheroo haha

It was a stunt double who fell. Gwen went through a side door towards that last scene

the fall was a planned and rehearsed stunt from a stunt double to surprise people when she's rising on that platform the next second. you can hear them at 3:45 saying "throw her down"
