Hot Cues, Loops, and Effects
Rather than an EQ kill section on the MIXTRACK we reviewed last month, this has a Hot Cue, Loops and Effects section that allows you to map cue points in your mix and add effects. The loop section also features an automatic loop feature to set up quick loops in preset measures.
Responsive Turntables
The turntables on the MIXTRACK PRO are extremely sensitive and allow you to scratch and nudge. By turning off the scratch feature, this allows you to use the entire plate to nudge. These are responsive turntables and allow you to really get into what you are doing.
Virtual DJ LE
This is a new software that comes with the MIXTRACK PRO. It works really well with this controller and maximizes the new features of the MIXTRACK PRO. This does not limit you to only this software as it is compatible with virtually all DJ software. NOTE: NEWER VERSIONS OF THE MIXTRACK PRO NOW COME WITH SERATO DJ INTRO.
Built in audio interface
This is a big upgrade to the MIXTRACK because now you don't need to purchase an additional audio interface. The MIXTRACK PRO is virtually plug and play and even features a microphone input with it's own volume control.

I just received my mixtrack pro in the mail today from uniquesquared. And i must say, i was really excited to start using this because this is my first piece of dj equipment i ever used. Great piece of equipment and its very easy to use, a recommended buy indeed and its great for the price too.
i been all over the place on youtube lookin for reviews and uniquesquared sold me on this and this is the one i will get
I own these decks, I bought them used. These things are sturdy. Even though it's hard plastic, it'll last a long time. I'm very pleased with them, and the mixing on them is great. Thanks for the review, this really pushed me to purchase these a few months back!

Hi, I recently purchased the Mixtrack pro that came with Traktor LE... and I was just wondering if I could get more effects, download them somewhere, and my hot cues don't work with Traktor LE, all it does is just kill the highs mids and lows.. any suggestions would be great! thanks!...
I have a question. Does it have filter options? On example, on dubstep/dnb tracks cutting sounds and then using the filters making it wobble? Thanks.
Can the 2 outs be configured to send one deck to each out so this can fed as 2 tracks into an analog mixer and mixed on that instead of the built in mixer?
Can you use the jog wheel for full pitch control? eg will the mix hold once the wheel is used to change pitch or do you need to use in conjunction with the pitch fader.
I mix DNB mostly (very pitch sensitive) and am interested as the pitch faders look very small which i would imagine creates issue when looking to hold mixes for long periods (1-2mins)
so the controller has an all in one effects knob with two control knobs and a trigger button, what if I wanted to turn on more than one effect at once, ie i'm filtering the track and I wanna throw an echo in there as well (at the same time) is it possible with decent advanced mappings ?!
So there is no way of changing advanced settings, making playlists, ect. with Virtual DJ LE? Even though I have the serial number that came with my Mixtrack Pro? Does this mean that I have to buy the pro version to do all that good stuff?
I have a question for you! sorry my poor english... I just have bought the numark mixtrack pro (the traktor version, with audio i/o), but a feel a "little big" difference (if i may use this expression) on the sound quality between sound card of mixtrack and my soundcard on PC (Creative Audigy SE). The bass is poor on mixtrack, and the volume is too low in comparison with the same master volume on the sound system. Do you know why?
How do you save music? Everytime I try to put it in a crate, I take out the cd and put another one in and the the music i had saved is gone. :(
Hello. I've noticed that there is no left ch/right ch balance for the headphones. How do You set which channel to monitor? I have a M-AUDIO Fast Track USB soundcard, can I choose which channel to monitor from it? I really like to buy this one, so PLS help. Thx in advance.
hey there i need help with my mixtrack pro which i use with traktor le (audio 6 sound card). when i load a track in deck A and B my cross faders and the channel faders doesn't work but my external mixer for controlling the sound volume works (crossfaders and channel faders) my set up is that the output of the interface goes to the line 1 and 2 on the external mixer and the input of the interface goes to the output of the mixtrack pro. pls help me :(

@uniquesquared Hey Im looking at purchasing a mixtrack pro, I have virtual Dj installed on my laptop at the moment which I just muck around on. When i attach the mixtrack pro will i have to keep physically changing the effects on the laptop itself or is there a button or knob on the mixtrack pro which allows me to change from e.g phaser to backspin ??? please reply
@iNiCY33 It sounds like your laptop meets the requirements. Are you hearing any thing through the headphone monitor? We might have to also adjust your buffer speed in preferences. Are you running VDJ or Traktor LE?
i have a question how can u make the virtual dj work with out controllers on it i want to just use it in the computer but without the controllers???

I just got the Numark Mixtrack Pro yesterday, i have Traktor Pro aswel and i have went into the Launch Service Center and updated all the drivers for it, when i go into the Setup Wizard and look for Mixtrack Pro its still not there? Any advice? Really want to sort this or its a waste of money.

Does the Numark Mixtrack work with Traktor Pro like the Stealth Control does? Is there much of a difference between the 2 because I currently have a Stealth Control.
Hi there great video, I am having a problem because when i plug my headphones in i cant here anything, did you just simply plug your headphones into the mixtrack or did you have to set something up before?
Can I use my iMac speakers?? I don't have external speakers, when I plug the mixtrck pro to the iMac with an RCA cable, it doesn't make any sound

With my virtualdj broadcaster, it only lets me run my numark pro mixer for 10 minutes, it says i need to upgrade to BASIC or PRO. I like to play music video's for fun, what would you encourage or is there another program that is free or cheaper?

hey i just updated my virtual dj LE that came with my mixtrack pro and now it wont aloww me to use my mixtrack pro with the new 7.0.3 virtual dj ,, any help :(
@Uniquesquared what exactly does that mean. and doesnt it have like a soundcard which is like the headphone thing?

if you turn the knobs - does itfeel like plastic/something breakable , or does it feel stabile and valuable ? does the whole mixtrack pro feel stabile ?
Version 2's just came out. Crossfader is extremely smooth, almost no resistance, while pitch, gain, volume faders all have a good amount of resistance. Pots all have a good resistance too, EQ pots sit well into their middle positions.
i really need your help cause im gonna get a mixtrack. but what is the difference between normal and pro
@Uniquesquared thanks, but on the box it actually says ''MIXTRACK PRO'', could it be possible that it was badly packaged into the wrong box?
im confused with the built in audio, so you can play music without speakers? because i am using them...

Hey bro, is there much latency with the fader or even the actual tables? IS there less latency with between different programs, like is Serato tighter with the controls than say VDJ? Can I cue the next files on the tables properly just like any other mixer so I can hear the beats for the upcoming track without mashing it up with the playing one at the same time? (hope that made sense). Is this all able to be done with my laptop which has just one audio output or do I need a couple of outputs?

I bought the mixtrack pro and there was something different... It didn't have any hot cue points, it had the EQ kill buttons exactly from the first version, I asked why it didnt have any and the dealer said its the newest version... Is this true?

i'm going to buy numark mixtrack pro in a few days and i would like to buy a laptop bag for my numark so that i can store it safely,don't have enough money for flight case or something like that...which are the dimensions of the mixer and which size of bag would fit with the mixer?a 17'' laptop bag is good enough?

@EpicTom You can use the SYNC button in the transport section or you can use the pitch control and pitch bends to align the tracks via your ear.

alright well we all know its beginners controller but any comment on the cross fader is it stiff like the 1dj2 or loose like the ns6
dude :( i need some help and u are maybe the only 1 that can help. in the mixtrack there is a button to SYNC. is there any ( that I am missing ) to reset the BPM? and if there is not, what is the best way to reset it ??

@myscams I recommend using the pitch fader to set and the jog to adjust. If you need your long mix to be perfect just use the sync button. I hope this helps.
