I was not familiar with this cologne until today. I decided to purchase it and wore it to dinner and then later to a show. I got a couple compliments from friends and I absolutely love the scent. Lasted about 6 hours strong from one application, then it trailed off around hour 8. Great Cologne and would highly recommend it.
This is the first blue fragrance I’ve smelt that’s resonated with me. I didn’t expect that!

I went out to pick up a fragrance for my bf, I had watched lots of videos on men’s fragrance but not seen this one, tried all the usual suspects but this one definitely stood out to me, I hope he likes it but this review makes me think he will!
Smells like combo of the original Calvin Klein eternity and Lagerfeld Photo from the 90’s. Not the reformulated crap, the original formulations. So glad these scents are coming back

Today I tried this scent on myself in Ulta and then I totally blown awayyy. After 2 hours, even though I smoked, my Uber driver immediately asked my cologne and I was totally shocked because I did not expect that. Really a compliment getter.

The dry down is the most incredible vibe.. has me smelling myslf all day. This is the cologne that got me into cologne and tbh I haven’t smelt anything quite this good again.

Hmm, I tried this at the dept store when I was purchasing another fragrance. I really wasn't blown away by it but one thing I forgot to do was try it on my skin. I tried it on the strip and didn't think about it because I wasn't blown away by the scent profile. It's just pleasant, but I don't see it being as big of a compliment getter as indicated. I definitely see Y the original EDP getting a ton of compliments as I already have a handful with that fragrance. This one might be nice but it's not a standout in my opinion...I like Eros EDP for the Blood Orange note in it vs the Orange Blossom here
I was very skeptical of this fragrance as I really dislike ysl Y EDP. But wow…love this one…it one of those fragrances that you immediately understand and know and realize it going to be on many journeys with you.

Tried it last week and was not impressed but I took the paper sample home with me and put it on a cabinet in my bedroom. At night I smelled something fresh, it must be 'Myself'. So, I'm liking it more now but must wait until the price drops. I've been hording Xerjoff scents the last of couple of months so funds is getting an issue.

I was on a trip for 2 months this summer when I returned back I just realized that there was a new release from YSL so I just smelled in Sephora and it smells really really good I can say it’s the best release cologne for the past 5 years it’s just a new different smell in men’s cologne industry.

When i first smelled it i couldnt help but feel like this smells eerily familiar to something else that i really liked and then i figured it out. This smells strangely similar to YSL Libre EDT for women. In fact mYSLelf and Libre share similar notes. Im assuming this is YSL's men's alternative to that line.
I totally agree with you. In my opinion, Libre is an ambitious fragrance for women and MYSLF is quite an ambitious one as well for men, that’s the common thing both have but I think that MYSLF is more woody than Libre and maybe more floral

I'm not familiar with any Yves St Lauren, but I almost want to buy it just because they didn't name it something goofy like "themself".
I think it's good, but for me I need to reapply every 2 - 3 hours. But I cannot understand the hate this one gets compared to love JPG Elixir is getting.
I find this to be a really nice scent and smells a lot like Luna Rossa Carbon.

I don’t get the hype… to me this smells like Y Le Parfum and I have 2 bottles of that only difference was the florals in the dry down. I might revisit this Myslf when I run out of Y Le Parfum. Shoulda just called it Y Le Parfum absolu…
Jez just recieved it today after watching this and another review and probably shouldnt of blind bought it. Smells basically floral and a bit feminine to me. Your review said not floral at all but bro me my wife, my kids, my neighbor, the corner store clerks, all said it smells floral. But decent. Kinda basic though. Ill find something to layer it with though to give it more depth.

I've received an exclusive sample from ysl to try this new fragrance out and I'm not really impressed - there are wayyyy better Parfums you need to spent your money on. Don't get me wrong, YSL MYSLF smells fine, but it doesn't strike you with its smell like you or someone would be instant smash. Its good, but unless it turns out to be a great compliment getter.. it isn't a Parfum you need to have. You basically can say it smells like a combination of Y Le Parfum smoothed out with florals with a bit of LNDLH and Librè and Uomo Intense just gentle.
I could see it to be a fine parfum for a young gentleman (or any age) going out to a restaurant, its gentle slightly classy, smooth and with inspiration of a feminine floral fragrance on masculine base.
Maybe it is YSL's figure of their own Dior Homme (Intense), V Uomo Intense in a way, it doesn't have the darkness it is more clean but the floral touch does follow the way of Dior etc

It's just an ok fragrance. It's kind of weak and forgettable. It won't have you sniffing yourself or getting compliments. I tried it out last week here in The Netherlands on strip and wearing. There are better options if you're looking for something to enjoy or to get compliments. I am 100% sure of this. Definitely try it out first so you won't be disappointed.

I have a bottle and it was my SOTD yesterday. I personally love the bergamot and orange blossom combination. The orange blossom stands out. I agree, it’s mass-appealing and easy to wear. I’m glad it is an edp coz if it’s an edt, I wouldn’t buy it.
Hey! How is the orange blossom? Is just that seeing this notes kinda reminds me as the Dior Homme Cologne which I love but I haven’t had the chance to actually try it.

Sampled this at Macy’s 2 days ago and at its core, it’s a very orange blossom forward fragrance. Yes there are other components, but they take the backseat to the banal orange blossom. The longer this dries down the more it becomes traditionally feminine. At best it’s unisex. Versatile yes, but not the greatest compliment getter of 2023. Don’t blind buy this.

Iirc, he's done that with Yuzu Fu. He certainly gets as animated and caught up in his enjoyment of that fragrance in a couple vids that he's talked about it.
I would've appreciated the more "what does it smell like" in addition to the gushing over how great it smells.
But, it seemed to me like he was just genuinely liking it a lot and that this was more of a first impression than actual review.
