    I knew nothing about Scientology except that it was a religion famous people in Hollywood joined. Until I read Jenna's book the moment it was published, and I was appalled. I lost all respect for the celebs staying in that disgusting cult! Great book.

      I had seen an old interview, that I didn't know was re-run from 60 Minutes, of when Jenna & her husband had left Scientology. BUT man, listening to her story, I'M STUNNED!!!!! I don't know if ALL Scientologists know this, BUT it makes me see if Tom Cruise REALLY believe SHIT about children, NO WONDER WHY he can justify NOT having a rel'ship with Suri!!!!!!

    There must be 15 ways to sue and win based on Jenna’s testimony. Forced child labor, keeping children away from their parents, preventing them from attending school, emotional and physical abuse…I hope she sues and wins millions and millions of dollars, along with all the other young people who have been terrorized and brainwashed. Keep up the good work, thank you for sharing. It is so important to bring all this ugliness to light.

      Aaron- PLEASE READ THIS! I know that a lot of people cope with trauma with humor and laughter, but not everyone does. I know that your laughter is a response to the ludicrousness of the overall situation, but often as Jenna is relaying very traumatic events to you, your first response is laughter. Although she seemed to “get it,” her tone immediately returns to seriousness. Please re-watch this video and notice how often you do this because it as much as I respect the work you do, you need to be aware of this perhaps unconscious response.

He don’t have natural empathetic reaction to others pain even tho he probably is inside ? Maybe he’s feels not at ease showing sensitivity idk , like he said at the end he never talks about his experience and when he does it’s very technical comparing to Jenna who talks about every aspect of her experience. • @SomeBody-rm6hf
      @SomeBody-rm6hf 9 месяцев назад

      @@Saints2929 I can answer this...child protective services aren't cops, they cannot execute warrants. If you refuse to let them in, they can't do anything about it. Cops can't enter private property without a warrant, which must be signed by a judge. Judges can be bribed. Warrants require some evidence, and hearsay is not usually enough by itself. Scientology is notoriously secretive, with their own security staff, hiding the things they don't want people to see, including cops. The same stuff goes on all over the country and nobody even knows about it, Scientology is on a much bigger scale. They're also insanely rich with a whole team of high-priced lawyers, and most likely informants. It's like a major drug cartel or terrorist group turned into a religious cult.

    Great book Jenna and good for you ti speaking out. Just an amazing understanding of the abuse of children. Also completely relate to what you said in the beginning about controlling relationships. What a powerful thing to discuss whether related to the cult or not. Such a revelation!

    one of my ealiest memories of watching the Scientology scandal unfold was Jenna's exit and her testimonial and the fact she was so 'connected', and for that reason she was the bravest of the brave. Great woman.

    I’m happy to see how the guest warms up and overcomes her nervousness. I like how authentic she is.
    She doesn’t relate to normal family relationships and childhood memories, her normalcy being so different.
    It could be weird to hear someone coldly acknowledging the lack of meaningful bonds with their parents and siblings, growing up. Yet I feel she’s balanced and she developed a nurturing environment for her own children.
    Very interesting and nice guest! Thanks you

    SO much compassion & respect for all of you who grew up in and escaped from this horrible cult. Thank you for sharing your stories. Hearing you talk about your lives in that world is like entering a foreign country with a completely different language. Not to make light of all you've gone through, but after all the years of watching Leah & Mike's documentaries & now your podcasts, I think Scientology has the most acronyms unknown to the outside world!😵 There should be Cliffs Notes for "Dummies" like me. Blessings to you all. May the truth continue to pierce the darkness of deception & manipulation, and light the way to freedom for everyone in captivity.❤
