Because the only clip of the U.S, they could get is from a video game, Modern Warfare 3. The original video which you can look up was taken down because of copyright infringement.
Ever notice that the only thing that looks good in this video is the bit of Modern Warfare 3 they stole which shows NYC under attack? A bit sad when a entire country can't make graphics better than Infinity Ward.
I'm not American, however, I don't understand how North Korea couldn't realize that obvious threats like this aimed at the most powerful military force in the history of the world could ever be a good idea.

was it just me or when they showed the scene when New York was getting attacked, that it kinda looked like a scene from MW3?
I live in new York and I know this pertains directly to me, but many things in this video doesn't make sense. firstly, why new York and not California? considering the distance, wouldn't California be a easier target? or does this simply mean every American city in general? second, if this was a threat to the us, wouldn't there have been translations already? third, why would north korea choose michael Jackson's song, a song from their sworn enemy, as the background music?
Was that Call of Duty Footage in there?

How can it be false when the future isn't here yet ? The world functions on what people do and think and on our priorities of what is important to our lives . Someday we will learn to communicate and to respect eachother's lives and eachother's space . The world is still growing up .
The problem with that is they'll be crying for foreign aid for disaster relief and we'll be expected to clean up their mess.

Funny stuff, there's a reason the states still has a huge advantage, mainly because they almost outspend the rest of the world combined (military wise). Just google world military expenditures and things become clear.

There really isn't that much need for submarines anymore. US has the largest air force by over 35%. US second largest in infantry and third in armor, but it makes up with this by being first in attack helicopters with 6400 to second russias 360.

It's not 1950 or 1960 anymore. We are in 2012 and the U.S military is so much powerful now then they were 50-60 years ago.

ya, there's no comparison really. The amount of money the U.S spends on military is really unfathomable. The wiki facts are supposedly U.S with around 5,000 warheads compared to China's 200 or so. These are obviously way off, but it paints a clear picture. Not to mention the quality of the weapons would be drastically different.

Because the most "powerful" military force in the world is a threat by being the most "powerful" military force in the world - As a thought it would take many countries to take out the USA as a potential threat it could be a step towards global unity like how NATO formed formed after WW2.

I think this video is indicative enough of North Korea's technical "prowess". On second thought, i say let them launch a nuke at the U.S, it'll probably topple over on the launch pad and take care of the problem.

Actually, that is just plain wrong. China would have more to loose if war were to break out between them and the USA. Why? US would simply cancel its debts. Sure, it would financially cripple both countries, but China would be hit much harder by this (as it looses money and the US no longer owes so much).

Just because china owns a portion of our debt does not mean we are no match for them military wise. US has the strongest and most expensive military.

wow...I never really played MW3, but talk about cheap propaganda...using 2 popular media from the us...that also kinda proves its not a false-flag, and that it does mean any city in the us, or its just a empty threat, as china would not support north korea in this agenda
