    For those with right hand side versions - the location of the filters is on the drivers side. You have to remove only the panel from the left and you will see the access to filters.

    Congratulations to BMW engineers. How did they manage to place a filter that only allows air to pass through in such a complex place?

    By the 5 minute mark, I needed Dramamine.

    Comparing to other cars I had, BMW has REALLY pushed it IN !
    Problem with this kind of engeneering, is that the service guys, sone times, skip this part - due to it's "great accessibility". Offcourse it's much easier to do if the car is lifted....
    It should be a standard issue - to get a full recording og the car service. Anyway - thanks for this clip !

    What is year of car? Is this in the same place for f45 2015? Also can we get filter off without removing gloves panel? Because it makes it more complicated 😏

      yeah..got frustrated and didn't have the nerve to film it. Open the black flap and remove it. pull the first filter out. the second one is underneath. You need to pull it up (with a screwdriver, fingers, whatever works) and out.

    • @greentom
      @greentom  3 года назад +1

      @@greentom Thanks a lot, on ISTA repair procedure the image is quite blurry, but managed to figure out using the text orientation for BMW f46.

    Blöd. Wollte sehen wie du an den Microfilter kommst. Genau da hast du geschnitten 😤😪😢

      Du musst die schwarze Klappe öffnen. Den oberen Filter kann man einfach herausziehen. Den unteren musst du mit einem Schraubenzieher/Zange/Fingern nach oben bringen und ihn dann herausziehen. Ist sehr fummelig, weswegen es nicht gefilmt wurde. Ich mache beim nächsten mal ein neues Video. Jetzt weiß ich wie es geht, dann kann man sich mehr aufs filmen konzentrieren.
