I was on this very boat just this Sunday! Got properly sprayed while crossing the Sydney harbour, though… so obviously I’ve got a lot to learn about going through choppy waters. Thanks for showing how it can be done 😅
Oh that's awesome Konstantin! You always need to get a few sprays until you get the feel for it. Speed and angle of attack into the waves is what will cause the boat to kick up spray or not. Whenever I enter a new part of the Harbour that might be affected by waves (EG Middle Harbour around to Manly) I always wind back on my speed until I can feel the ocean under the hull. Then when I can sense the wave height and period I'll speed up again and extend my gaze far out in front looking for the next waves so I can adjust my speed and angle as necessary.
Just go boating heaps this summer and you'll get the hang of it. Enjoy mate!

Engines sound horrible. I couldn’t live with that. Put the Mercs on it and it would be awesome
