This would be great exposure for your channel and would help you increase the number of subscribers to your channel. I really appreciate your sharing of knowledge, inspiration, and vibe. Great “tour” Leon, thanks for an insight into your setup and fave guitars. I sent back my PRS DGT core and picked up the gold top SE version which is great. After buying a core Silver Sky to replace an ageing Strat Customer Shop I have become a PRS devotee… Recently bought the Modern Eagle V which is simply awesome… pricey but what a guitar. Thanks again.
@@LeonTodd Totally agree and mine seems a shade thinner as well. I prefer less chunky necks although the Modern Eagle V is very similar. I own Brett Garsed's blue ESP Horizon which has a seriously thin and fast neck with its own mojo, but the new PRS MEV is stunning.. thanks for your work Leon.
I always think your room looks ultra long with the camera, but in reality its about the same size as any normal bedroom (apart from the fantastic guitar collection). Thanks for the tour Leon👍
Most recent addition to my gear cave is an 86 fernandes revolver. I had been after one in lake placid blue for ages but when the opportunity to get one in the same shade of white as the strat i played and modded until it literally fell apart back in high school showed up on reverb i grabbed it immediately. It made me want to blue one even more because they are fantastic guitars.
So basically your "studio" is what I picture the afterlife looks and feels like. This was a treat, thanks for showing us. 🙏 And thanks for being awesome, relatible and extremely inspiring.
Very cool space, and a most impressive collection of gear. I've been focusing on streamlining my studio, less of the things I don't use, less of the things that don't need to be in here. There's a lot of DIY, I've built my own desk and continue to expand upon it, I've built my own acoustic treatments and continue to add more as time, energy and budget allows, lots of small projects like small stands for synth & eurorack gear, etc. My 6505+ still lives here, but I haven't used it in ages now that I'm running my Fractal rig.
@@LeonTodd no load box; I considered one for a while, but at this point I'm so satisfied with my Axe III through wedges that it doesn't make much sense to continue investing in guitar rig bits. I mainly keep my head and cab because they've been with me for so long, and on the off chance that I find myself in a gigging situation where I actually need an amp on stage, in which case I'd just be running the Axe through the power section.
Nice setup there, Leon. That Valencia seating looks very comfy! I've got a couple Les Pauls, a Telecaster, an Ibanez strat, an ESP strat and an ESP single cut. Oh and an acoustic 12 string. I run all that through a Line 6 amp, nothing special but it works for me. I also have an OLD Digitech RP-1 effects unit that i absolutely love.
Wonderful tour. I really enjoyed seeing your gear and setup. Where did you find the Click power supply? I've been searching, but can;t find it. It looks perfect.
G'day from the other end of Australia! Good to see your setup and draw inspiration from. I'm fairly new to the whole recording, guitars and gear. Using boss gx100 as an interface and use the tones and effects from time to time. Have studio monitors hooked up to the gx for tracking guitars. I mainly rely on plugins (mercurial ampbox and guitar rig 6) for tones. I don't play in a band anymore so playing live is not a thing I worry about. Guitars, I only have 3 electric and 1 acoustic. I don't feel the need for more honestly. Yeah lack of skills has financial benefits haha. 1 with a floating trem (standard tuning, always), 1 with fixed bridge (standard and drop tunings) and another to play around with alternate tuning (trying DADGAD at the moment and hasn't been that great so far)
Nice selection of gear, I'm fond of your SC 245 👌. Here's my current "keeper" collection : '99 Fender US Tele standard, '91 mex Strat, '09 GIbson SG Standard, '98 Ibanez MIJ ATK 300, '06 PRS SE Singlecut, '07 PRS SC250 (my most precious one 😍), '97 PRS Custom 24. Most are modded. Other guitars and basses come and go until I'm sure they got the right mojo for me. Amp side, I'm a Boogie & Orange kind of person😄
Greetings from Sydney. Cool studio setup you've got there. My motley setup is very much in need of improving. I've got 11 electrics, mostly the usual suspects from Gibson, Fender and PRS. My main amp is a Victory Sheriff 22 and 1 x 12 cab with a Vintage 30. I do have a old Moody amp that needs some work and a Yamaha THR10 which is great for practice. Thumbs up for you showing off your Hamers, I have a 78 Sunburst. And a shout out to The Rock Inn, from whom I got my Rory Strat, bought over the internet but excellent service. If I ever get back to Perth I'll have to drop in on them. Cheers for the great channel and content.
Love the setup--looks like a lot of gear I would have collected along the way if I'd made it my full-time thing. Currently using 1987 Gibson Les Paul Custom, 1993 (body)/97 (neck) Fender Strat Plus (with Suhr MLs in it--mix n match neck and body because I made the mistake of installing a Floyd at one point), 2002 PRS CE24, 2008 PRS Standard Satin, 2014 PRS DGT, 2021 PRS Fiore (my #1 right now), 2023 Reverend Descent baritone, along with a few basses, a Fender acoustic, and a custom mandolin. Pedalboard changes regularly but key components are generally Wampler Ego comp, Revv Tilt OD, Greer Lightspeed, Keeley Halo, Eventide H9 and Strymon Mobius for all the fun stuff. Usually running into a Mesa Fillmore 50 (occasionally with an extra Mesa 1x12 attached) and when I'm feeling sassy, I plug into the Mesa Mark V, ideally with my late 70s greenback-filled Marshall 4x12 (overkill for most gigs). Have a Mesa Subway bass rig for when I'm tossing low notes around live. My at home daily driver for practicing and learning is a Line 6 HX Stomp. When I want to fire up the whole rig at home for recording, I have both a Two Notes Torpedo Live and a Two Note Torperdo Captor into a UA Volt 276.

Just noticed you have a sans amp psa preamp. Love to see a video on that. I have one after having a quick email chat with Jim Matheos some years back. Needed to know how he was getting that sound with the Mesa since i have one of those as well. Turns out he was just using it for power and the sans amp was the key.
Well spotted! I pulled it out in favour of the H90 and it's racked up in the smaller rack to the side that doubles up as a side desk and mount for filming rack vids. In good shape but I may move it on at some stage, a bit undecided.
