    Thanks for the video! I also wasn’t sure if it should rest on kickstand or on bike stand, holding upright makes good sense! Thanks again.

    Hey, that's a greatinstructional video. I was told by Roseville Yamaha to only idle the bike for about 10 minutes, then check the oil level.
    I'm going with this recomendation instead.

    optimal fill level is 1/2 way up dipstick? This seems odd and never seen such a thing. if overfilled , where does it leak from?

      I’m sure you figured it out by now but for anyone else that may wonder, it’s simple really.
      If it didn’t go down the first time, pull it out and rotate it 180👍🏼

      make sure you are going straight in. if you are off to the side it catches
