Yeah, I agree they're not even trying at this point, the idea of 'fortune lps' could have been so much fun to play with! they could have had pets based on zodiac signs or had the pets be sparkly, maybe have accessories relating to fortunes or whatever but these pets really don't have anything to do with the theme. thats super sad

Holy crap has Hasbro hired a 3 year old to design their recent pets? Do they think that's how you please children? I think the cookie concept is awesome, but the pets are just awful. Those designs look like they took 5 seconds to make. If that's the case (Sadly, but seems quite likely) it took them roughly 13 minutes, more realistically 15 to design 155 pets. Goodness, Hasbro.

It’s really disappointing with the route that Hasbro is going. I was happy with the fact that a few years ago they finally decided to listen to the fans and make cute designs and molds for the g5 pets, but now they’re getting lazy and just pumping out blind bag toys for the money. It’s really sad. I remember when I was younger being able to the store and have a gazillion options for pets, and now the lps section is sparse at best, empty at worst. They’re impossible to find. I honestly could go on and on about this lol 😤.

i do like the idea of the packaging, but oh god those pets are ugly. and so are the cutiemarks, they are way too big. i was so excited to see they were making lps again, hoping they would bring older designs back. they are getting better at using older g2 molds (sorta) but the colours are just crap. thanks for warning me, but i kinda want to buy one now lol

PFT I'm not going to lie, I was laughing when you got double of that deer and giraffe. I personally don't blame you being angry at this, you not only play with Littlest Pet Shop, but you're also a collector. I like what Hasbro theme was, like Fortune cookies, that was cool. But man that is just a waste of money to get a toy and just a charm, even Happy Meals put more effort than you, Hasbro.
While I semi-agree with you with the whole recoloring of the pets, at least with the G1-G2 pets they had a little bit diversity with their movement, face shape, hell even the color design and personality. And technically, while I didn't collect the music pets, they weren't the last G2 pets, the last ones were Bobble In Style back in 2014, so it's been half a decade since then. These pets are stiff and look like they've been stuck there for like ever.
Final verdict: The giraffe does look gross and really look like an alien. The deer is pretty cute and plain, but it's okay. That cutiemark intimation crap, not a fan of. I might buy one just for the deer, but every other design of those pets are simply just not worth the admission nor Hasbro's revenue. Or heck if you want to buy one, please artists redesign them because clearly Hasbro is not listening to us anymore.

I think Hasbro is too worried about My Little Pony to make good Lps... They seem to come out with around 30+ My Little Pony toys and only 1 or 2 lps toy sets... I would be ok if they needed to pause the production of My Little Pony toys for a little while if it meant they would make better lps...
@@izoraiza7169 ya true especially since I don't collect the mlp toys but I do play with lps. I would much rather them make lps but I get that they need to give some for mlp toy collectors. However they need to balance it better. Especially since a lot of fans like both of them, and if we are angry about lps, we will probably not want to buy as much mlp.
I feel like after everyone hated G4 hasbro was like "hey why don't we actually try!" G5 came out everyone liked them then hasbro said "I guess we don't have to try anymore". Now they just reuse molds 100% of the time ;-;

My main problem when I saw the prototypes was that they were just too basic and boring. I don’t mind repaints, but the reason why I loved the food pets so much was because they were adorable and original. Not to mention, I agree with you on the plastic part.

Considering that kids aren't interested in littlest pet shop these days, and the official instagram is inactive, i think the brand is already doomed to ne discontinued. Kids only like the gambling-like blind bags, and i think you've got the toy brand Moose for creating Shopkins (the brand that started the full on era of blind bags). As much as i love the Littlest Pet Shop brand, i dont think that the brand has a purpose in the late 2010s-early 2020s

Old lps were bright and beautiful colours they really focused on colors there.
Now people have been disliking the new bets so they are tryeng to make them colorful
and focus on coloring again. Now if they see that this dosent work to they might
