How do you understand the passage where Srila Bhaktivedanta swami ji puts women in the same category than "rascals of sudras", and says that they are incapable of understanding veda and were therefore given Mahabhabarata?

This is what was written in scriptures already. Bhagwad gita wasn't written by Srila Prabhupada but Krishna spoke this in the battlefield Himself. Srila Prabhupada was very much a believer of how women could hold important positions and that's how you find women pujaris ONLY in ISKCON!
