This was a happy accident for me. My original plan for my piercing was a tragus, but it turns out I'm a member of the tiny tragus club, so that was a pass. I said I'm here, I'm in the chair, I'm ready for a piercing, what can we do? She looked at my ear and went Well, we can do your faux rook! I went okay! Let's do it! I've seen your other FR video, along with some other piercers so I knew something about it and wasn't going in totally blind, but the pain. Oh my Lord, your soul leaves your body. It's a cool piercing, guys.. This is your sign to get it :)
Thank you for sharing your experience. It's always great when we having the right timing. Congratulations on your new piercing and here's hoping for an easy heal.
I have a double rook. I personally found it to be a pretty easy piercing for me. It was not as fun for the piercer. Luckily, she's a superstar and did an amazing job of getting two in that small space. I also found it an easy heal. What I do find is that I have a heck of a time keeping it clean. I am really good at keeping my piercings clean but this one has been a challenge. Maybe a single rook would be better but I can see that a faux rook would have much of the aesthetic benefits of a rook while being easier to keep clean.
Yes it can be a little easier to clean. The other pro I didn't cover is that the jewelry can be more tight fitting. Even with a 1/4 curved barbell they can be pretty loose. Thank you for sharing your experience and watching.
Is faux rook considered a flat if so I have it and it wasn’t bad getting pierced but the after was very painful it’s been months and it still hurts and it’s been months but it probably didn’t help I got a conch done too right before it I have to say I have 31 piercings and this is the only one that still hurts
Kind of, it's placed forward and lower than a flat piercing. They can be tender and sensitive to the touch for a long time. Really need to be isolated. Thank you for sharing your experience and watching.
It shouldn't be an issue to get a nostril piercing too. The only suggestion is sleeping and isolating the piercings will be easier if they are both on the same side.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing Thanks mate, I didn't think of that. I'll most likely get the nose done at the same time. I was thinking 2 piercings may take longer to heal .

Love your glasses.
Thank you and thank you for watching.
I have a rook, daith, helix and conch. My rook was by far the most painful but healed the quickest
Thank you for the video, hope all is well! I'm planning on this piercing for my left ear😊
You are welcome. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing I sure will! Your content guides me well hehe😊
Thanks so much for this!
I have a Rook on my left ear, the pain was unimaginable 😅 I'll be doing a Faux Rook on my right ear
You are welcome and thank you for sharing your experience with your rook piercing. They can be a painful piercing to get.

Im getting a shen men piercing on the 15th. Would it be ok to get a nose piercing at the same time or should i wait for a few weeks? Thanks.
