Sometimes I feel like Emilia is actually a really relatable person for some people. Kids really love soaking up attention, most just act out and go crazy but Emilia figured out a different way. All things considered, Emilia is really smart. She was definitely going about things the wrong way as a child, but because she was doing good deeds, no one thought to teach her otherwise. Very interesting On the flip side, the villagers man. Everyone gets overwhelmed sometimes, they didn’t need to go all phsyco on her.
Emilia does deserve to rest from taking care of all of the peoples problems, it most be tiring to keep hearing people talk about their problems and so she has the rights to be angry, but she doesn’t have the rights to manipulate the king, if she wanted praise and attention then she should just become friends with the royal family, that way people would know her and she’d get high praise and attention because the royal family would be happy to help her if she was their friend. But hearing peoples sadness still most be tiring it’s not an easy thing to do.
In all honesty, the most underrated ship and the best ship is Emilia x attention, it’s such a nice ship and an underrated one at that! We need more Emilia x attention shippers! /j

It's something you can't really get unless you actually experience it. Trying to deal with your own problems but solve everybody else's too, because you feel like you have to be that perfect friend, the therapist friend. The therapist friend IS a hard role to take.
I would have to disagree with Emilia when she said it's easy to gain social approval just because of your social standing, especially if you're the king or queen regnant of a kingdom. It is extremely hard to run a kingdom, especially if it's ginormous. You would have to take care of the economy, repeal or appeal laws, protect your country and people, ensure the welfare of the citizens, education, maintain royal privacy, and many more. Any mistakes and it could result in a lowered social approval, and many times end in civil war, death or overthrowing of the monarch. That's why only a select few in history has ever been 'socially approved". If you're born to a badly approved monarch, you, right off the bat, just as you're born, already aren't that socially approved. Edit: this video isn't exactly about royal approval, I couldn't help it since i have nothing to do 😅

Honestly I enjoy doing stuff like this for people not because of praise (I don’t mean the manipulation part-) but just doing everything I can for people sitting with them letting them tell me things when no one else will listen even complain about things that others would call “petty” because I’ve been there and I’ve needed that person but I never really got that so I strive to help others at this point it’s just my nature like I don’t really think before I act in kindness which I need to work on because unfortunately I’m very easily manipulated and because of my emotional abuse by my father reinforcing that standing up for myself was disrespectful I subconsciously stop myself from defending myself, I don’t really know how to in most cases, I CAN stand up for myself and have but it’s hard because then I feel mean but telling someone who threatened me or guilt tripped me to leave me alone is not disrespectful and it’s more disrespectful to myself if I don’t. Ok sorry this somehow turned into a rant- also hopefully I don’t sound like an attention wh*re I’m not trying to sorry if I came off that way. Long story short it’s good to help others but in the end you need to put yourself first when it’s a serious situation and you could get hurt, don’t let others scare you into submission, just because you’re nice does not mean you can’t stand up for yourself, and defending yourself is NOT rude (it can be if you start saying some really negative stuff or popped off on something pretty minor there’s a fine line in between which you should do but it’s hard to find that) as my therapist told me (which I pretty much ignored but we don’t talk about that) never try to be someone else’s therapist, be there and let others talk but don’t get to the point where you’re doing something that someone of a much higher authority or skill level should be doing ex. A police officer or something.

I'm not really an attention seeker who wants to be glorified, I just want to be respected like most people would. You want to keep a positive reputation in order for that to happen. I try to be kind to others because I would want someone to do the same for me. Being praised should not be the main motive and personally it's not really something I feel like I or anyone deserves. Because Ik underneath I'm not perfect and I don't want people to look too highly of me because Ik I'll eventually let them down. I'm not God, I'm human. I think sometimes especially if you're a well-known influencer that is something that you have to remind people about. Please respect me but do not idolize me.
I had a similar problem last year but now I learnd that if people don’t like you for who you are then they aren’t your real friends and that’s ok. It’s ok to only have a few friends but what matters most is that they care about you ❤️
