- We set out to ride Midtown (NYC) where some of the best spots are located. Unfortunately almost all of the spots have security guards, but that didn't stop us from trying. As a security guard myself who has had to ask skateboarders to leave I just approach them with a chill attitude about it. They always leave if you ask nicely. I like watching the tricks and stuff but I have a job to do and if I don't that's my ass. I like these guys cause they get it and are respectful. Some people don't understand why we have to ask you to leave and I just explain it. If you're skating/biking and I see you but don't tell you to stop and then you get hurt on the property the people who own the building can be held liable. That's really the only reason I have to make you leave. Anyways, nice video guys!

mistermodified1. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and freedom to petition the government. I wouldn’t waste money on lawyers and court fees because kids wanted to bmx on my property personally.
That’s stupid, why don’t they pass laws where no one can see if there’s a sign saying no skateboarding, people will be aloud to skateboard and ride bikes and all the sign means is you can’t sue if you get hurt. No one bikes or skateboards with the intention of hurting themselves and sueing

It must feel soo free when you cruise down these streets.
In most cities it just ain't like that.
It even feels that way in our small town. But yeah at least we got a downtown with a few street spots.

well just imagine if your boss told you to take care no one rides his bike there, then there's idiots coming every day, every week, you have to tell them again and again, no one listens to you, they even make fun of you or insult you and your boss shits on you because you're failing at the task. then maybe, if your life doesn't just consist of having fun and riding bikes with friends, it is understandable. i would be chill about it too, but just think about it

Do security guards not realise it makes their job 100 times easier if they are nice?
First of all, most security guards are nice people, but no it doesn't make their job easier if they're overly nice since dickheads like these guys would still break the rules even if they were asked nicely.
Please, try working a day as a guard or a cop and see where being nice gets you.

Hey Babe If they're mocking them then there's probably a good reason for it. If they just respectfully ask them to leave then they'll leave or if it's unfinished they'll ask for one more try and agree to leave. But if they come out screaming "get the fuck out of here your punks, you can't ride your bikes here", they'll probably dish it back to them.

Actually you government healthcare sucks. I have insurance for free through the Veterans administration. It is government healthcare with real genuine government owned facilities and doctors. IT SUCKS AND IS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO GET TREATMENT BECAUSE OF OVER CROWDING AND UNDER FUNDING. So I buy my own insurance.

They rode and got clips at every spot they went to before eventually getting kicked out. That's a success imo, you just have to be resourceful and respectful like they were.
