@@JS_Adventure have seen one so big, a kookaburra that tried to catch and eat it the spider strangled the kookie to stop it! No word of a lie! Well........maybe......they do get bigger though...😂😂😂
Great video, I live in north Queensland and it looks like the babinda boulders needs a good bit of rain to flush her out. Normally the main swimming hole, the devil's pool and washing machine are much more fuller than that. Love that you filmed in the rain, it has a beauty all of its own and there's nothing like being in the rainforest when it's wet. Thanks again for sharing.😊
We tried it when editing with our iPad and found out we’re pretty clueless! 🤣 Now we have the MacBook it shouldn’t be too hard! (Hopefully) We’ll try and get it working because it’s a great idea
Spider is a golden orb. I live in Mission Beach about an hour drive south.. they are common up here build massive webs. Don't harm you unless you provoke them. Spider seen is a mid range one... it's also pronounced mill-a mill-a 😀 good video guys, safe travels
Cheers! There been some heated debates about the pronunciation of Millaa Millaa 😂 We’ve just stopped at Balgal beach for a couple of days to do day trips back north! We were in mission beach yesterday and Wow! What a great spot!!
If you ever come back up this way Tully George is good camping can swim but be crocodile wise. Murray Falls is good camping & swimming. Turn off in-between tully/Cardwell (unfortunately no phone service, that far up). Also up blanco is nice however I'm not too sure If road suitable caravans. Maybe that's a day trip/one nighter. Safe travels 👍
Another good vid guys, we did this same run but from the other end a week or two ago. It’s such a stunning part of the country and a nice cooler climate too 👍
Cheers guys!! 🍻🍻 It’s a great spot! So green and lush! The north of qld is one of our favourite places so far! Did you get much rain? As it’s been bucketing down since!
@@JS_Adventure yeh we have had a little rain here and their too, it’s just that time of the year up here. We are still in Atherton and will probably be here another week or two. If you are still around the area check out Millstream falls too and take your drone😉 we forgot ours when we done Millstream.
Loving following your adventures Can’t wait for this COVID to die down and get back up that way, really love FNQ especially the Cape But I think next time we’ll head south and inland a bit as well
We had 40 litres of drinking water stored inside the car and freed up that space by putting it in the pipe which doubles as a shower and holds just under 40 litres, I wouldn’t say hot, but certainly warm!
Another top episode! The spider is an Orb-weaver. Bite is similar to a bee sting. Don't generally bite unless threatened.
Cheers mate! Not a spider guy at all, but it was certainly a surprise looking back and seeing a spider the size of my hand!!
Cheers 🍻🍻
@@JS_Adventure google them. That was a baby compared to some! They can even catch birds!
Jeez!! That’d be a sight!!
