This was a surprising one! For the money I'd go with the EcoFlow River 2 Pro though. Jackery Explorer 600 Plus: shrsl.com/4l575 EcoFlow River 2 Pro: shrsl.com/4l573
In regards to the solar charging of the Jackery, what voltage does the solar panel you were using output? Jackery typically uses 12 volts to 30 volts to charge. If the voltage is under or over it will not charge.
Appreciate the honest review, it is difficult to find non biased content now days with everyone getting free products and not wanting to scare sponsorships away. You may want to include noise level on your score sheet since you do take that into consideration in your review.
I'd return it! Hopefully you got it from Home Depot or Lowe's. I don't recommend buying from their main website because they can give you the run-around with the return. Reach out to them and if they give you the run-around, make sure you document all communication then contact your bank.
He didn't use Jackery solar panels. One downside to Jackery is EVERYTHING is proprietary, especially the input devices. You'd have to modify the "normal" solar panel plugs to get them to work but even then it's hit or miss. Jackery makes you buy their stuff. If you use Jackery it will charge on solar no problem.
Crazy! You can get an Allpowers R1500 for $449. There's a coupon code in the review I made for it here: ruclips.net/video/Z95jLn-KZyg/видео.htmlsi=QUdcpz4m5PclurFY. Or, you can get an EcoFlow Delta 2 for $529 with a small discount using the coupon code in that video as well here: ruclips.net/video/KyWeH5X76LY/видео.htmlsi=ml9LgYH5QmB95tVH Hope these help!
Tell us you didn't watch the whole video without telling us you didn't watch the whole video. LOL, you were probably typing as I discovered the port on the side... then later tested, and tested, and tested and that port wouldn't take any input using two different panels and two different wires.
Hi, here is Charlene from Ruko, It's been about a half month since I got your email reply, and I would like to talk about the R299 power station we sent you.
Agreed! LOL, this was a complete joke. While I do think that all of these issues can be solved with a software update, they should've waited until they had those kinks worked out first or at the VERY least, informed people it was still in beta so we could be more forgiving.
Read my post above. He totally messed up the entire review. It WILL charge with solar panels he just used the wrong connectors and the delay in the display is normal.
@@rogerevans2185 that’s a relief but still… I’ll rewatch but I think there were a slew of other problems that were overlooked prior to releasing it, on paper it would still seem promising, there’s probably reasons as to why not many reviewers who one would think would have been the first to jump on this haven’t mentioned it, they probably got it and ran into this stuff, and are trying to get it sorted out so they can put out a video, as is it’s not ready
I didn't mess up a thing. You are saying I used a plug that didn't fit... it clearly did. I even used a Pecron side by side along with 2 different panels. Can you also explain why it stopped charging? You can clearly see I'm plugging it into the outlet. You must work for Jackery.
Correct. I bought this with my own money so I have no incentive to just say it's good. It's not good, and like I said repeatedly, all these things could be fixed with a software update but it should've never been released like this. Well, the lack of ports can't be updated lol. Makes no sense to buy. The older Delta 2 from EcoFlow (and I have my gripes with them as well) is a far better value.

you did a great review and for that you get subbs and thumbs . keep knocking them out the ballpark
My jackery 600 plus got 0% and it’s not charging anymore, what shall I do?

How to reset it when it’s not charging
Wish I could help you Emanuel! I returned mine.
I just bought the 600 ….works perfect and I do charge it with solar panels ..
Well as you can see... this one didn't work well at all. Glad you have success!
thanks Karen...I mean hes showing his experience...these power stations can be hit or miss,,I have a goal zero and it cuts off
@crystalrain9016 Thanks for clearing that up. I was going to say this product is disappointing. Sounds like this is isolated incident

I have a Vevor Solar panel that works perfect … and also a Jackery solar panel…
The plug for solar charging is the DC8020. You need a converter from the DC7909 plug.
Yup i ordered one and it comes with a panel extra of course
Just bought the 600 plus, I am having all the same issues, returning to home depot tomorrow

Were you having the awful parasitic idle consumption drain (23%) too?
BULL- I have one. The SOLAR plug in is on the side.

@@EcoSolarReviews You have to use Jackery solar panels or modify the "normal" plugs for them to work. Is this your first Jackery?
I don't think you read the directions personally and you obviously didn't do your research but that's okay we still love you keep going😂
Read the other comments from others who had the same issues.
They need to be jackery panels to charge others rare work

lol dont go exploring . stay home and dont fall asleep thinking the timer is set. A mess
Damn… I thought they were getting better, the solar thing is so rude, this whole thing being released is rude…
