Vol magique de printemps sur les sommets Corses en parapente/Amazing corsican paragliding

Du vent d'est est annoncé en ce Samedi de weekend prolongé. En Corse, cela signifie généralement l'impossibilité de rejoindre la haut montagne et les crêtes depuis Vero. Mais cela se traduit parfois également par des hauts plafonds jusqu'en bord de mer. Cela nous avait permis de rejoindre Calvi depuis Ajaccio en novembre 2022 (voir la vidéo sur la chaine). On repart donc dans cette optique avec @parapentecorsenico2A, depuis Véro cette fois ci, vers le nord en direction du Mt Cervellu et Tretore, magnifique formation rocheuse. Puis nous continuons en direction du col de Sévi avec une Magnifique vue sur Porto et le Capu d'Ortu. De là, nous sentons qu'un retour de vent en nord est risque de nous barrer la route. En revanche, vers l'est, par delà le col de Vergio, les conditions semblent bien meilleures, confluentes et moins ventés qu'anticipé. Nous pouvons donc repasser la crête principale de la Corse, ce qui nous donne accés à des merveilleuses conditions et de super lignes. Survol du GR20, lac de Nino, Punta Artica, puis traversée de la vallée de la Restonicca, franchissement de la grande crête du Cardo, on enroule à plus de 2700m face au Retondo avant de continuer cap au sud par le Mt d'oro, le col de Vizzavona, la Punta dell Oriente, le Renoso et son lac de Bastani. On atteint finalement les Pozzi et le val d'Ese. Ce sera notre dernier point en montagne avant de rejoindre la mer et de rentrer se poser à Véro.
Super lignes, super perspectives, un vol extraordinaire par beaucoup d'aspect.

An easterly wind is forecast for this Saturdayof a long holiday weekend. In Corsica, this generally means the impossibility of reaching the high mountains and ridges from the Vero takeoff. But this sometimes also results in high ceilings right up to the seaside. This allowed us to reach Calvi from Ajaccio in November 2022 (see the video on the channel).
So we're leaving with this in mind with @parapentecorsenico2A from Véro this time, heading north towards Mt Cervellu and Tretore, a magnificent rock formation. Then we continue towards the Sevi pass with a magnificent view of Porto and the Capu d'Ortu. From there, we felt that a return of north-east wind risked blocking our way. On the other hand, towards the east, beyond the Vergio pass, the conditions seem much better, confluent and less windy than expected. We could therefore cross the main ridge of Corsica, which gives us access to even better conditions and great lines. Flight over the GR20, Lake Nino, Punta Artica, then crossing the Restonicca valley, crossing the great Cardo ridge, we thermalled to more than 2800m facing Retondo before continuing south via Mt d'oro, the Vizzavona pass, the Punta dell Oriente, the Renoso and its Bastani lake. We finally reachsd the Pozzi and the Val d'Ese. This would be our last point in the mountains before reaching the sea and returning to land in Véro.
Great lines, great perspectives, an extraordinary flight in many ways.
