I love Nagant's inner monologue about how once she picks a target, the next part is already decided. That scene with the visual of Deku speeding past the bullet reminded me of Nighteye being in a similar position as Nagant. Nighteye was so stuck on what he knew would happen next that he thought it was futile for Deku to try to change it. Both of them had similar realizations when they saw, in person, that Deku is a hero who can do what they believe to be impossible.
I gotta say, mad respect to Midoriya here. He managed to go toe to toe with a sniper who could walk on air, get the hang of using a new quirk, AND win by talking to her. I know they don't have multiple quirks, but the pro heroes he's teamed up with should honestly start taking notes 😅
Nah, you have to feel bad for All Might, imagine feeling useless in a time where you feel like you’re needed the most and not being able to do much 16:13 Trust me, Morgan, you’re not the only one. AFO is a wuss and I also don’t like the smug smile on his face 😤
the way Horikoshi makes the clear distinction between people who can be redeemed (just about every villain, save a select few) and the completely irredeemable (AFO) is amazing lol
*I really feel for Lady Nagant. She was manipulated and used by the commission, and the moment she questioned what was happening they basically turned on her. And here she is being manipulated, used, and betrayed again by All for One.*
Glossing over the fact that Midoriya hitting Chisaki at speeds faster than the bullet should have killed him either way, it was still pretty hype. Also, Nagant deserved better. I would have loved it if she somehow got to shoot AFO using Air Walk in the future. Just to see one of AFO's creations literally backfire on him.
Son, how is the creator going to introduce a flavorful character like Lady Nagant, only to do her dirty like that. I hope she live to Morgan, she has a lot of potential as a character.
@@mentholnewport Nighteye: dead in the season he was introduced. Crust and Majestic also died in the same season they started properly showing up. Plus Mirko is still alive, so she's more like how Best Jeanist was crippled after his introduction
It's so annoying how much of a masterplanner AFO is. Always seems to be ahead....always smug... it's gonna be so satisfying the day (hopefully) Deku swipes that stupid smirk off his face.
The twisted audacity of Chisaki wanting to see his pops, when he was the one who put him in a coma with his quirk in the first place. Despite being yakuza this the man who took him in and raised him as his own and got punished when tried to provide the boy with some moral values.
I thought that was what broke him. He put his pops in that state thinking he can restore him after he's done with the quirk scheme. But Shigaraki took that away from him and that's why he went crazy. He can't restore his pops to his old self now. He did all that for him (in his mind it was for his pop's own good), so I don't think there's audacity. Just pure desperation that he can't do anything to save his adoptive father now, only apologize. At least that's how I interpreted it.
@@SenseofNoneYT his actions and reflecting on them might have broke him in some way. Maybe he does want to apologize to Pops. However to me he was still raised in a somewhat normal way, never being abused or mistreated by his adoptive father. I also think the moment Chisaki put him in a coma he was in a rational state of mind, it wasn't due to some emotional outburst. As I recall he did it to Pops because he was in his way and their morals weren't aligned anymore. Personally I don't have sympathy for his character nor do I think he knows himself how much bad he has done to his father, Eri and others.
@@JustJDx Oh, I don't have sympathy for him either. I just thought that no matter how twisted his perspective was, he has always felt like he owes his adoptive father. But he planned on restoring his father after he restores the group's glory. He'd have killed his pops if he actually bore him ill intent.
