How to make Lithium Battery Pack for E-bike

In this video we are going to salvage lithium ion cells from an old battery pack to built our customized lithium battery to power our electric bike.
So we have been working on converting our bicycle to a powerful electric bike and we had quiet a bit of sucess as we have been using brushless hub motor to power the bike. But that thrist of power requires a big battery bank and the challange is to get maximum capacity within a short space.
So instead of throwing a hefty amount on commercial lithium battery packs that might not fit inside the bike we rather decided to built our own customized lithium ion battery packs our of used lithium ion cells.
This video is a complete guide for building a cuttomized battery pack for your electric bike conversion.

Those are lithium polymer (lipo) batteries, and discharging below 3.4 volts can and will cause permanent damage. Pay your advisors well a rich man once said. Watch more than one video when u want to do any project. It's the difference between success and failure. Most of their info is valid, but not for the lithium cells shown. They called them lithium ion packs which are 18650 batteries for example. Slightly different composition, and very different tolerances.
I must add, i love channel. These guys are intelligent, entertaining, and bad ass. There content is valid and watch them a lot. I just happen to know a lot about lithium batteries as an ebike and rc model builder and enthusiast. Rock on guys
