Buffalo Line Coal Trains in the Darkness

On a cold Monday November 11th, 2024 I got word that a southbound loaded coal train was on its way south from Keating bound for Norfolk, Virginia. What I did not hear was the other train that was going northbound heading to Keating with empty hoppers being 633. I made the drive up to Montgomery to milepost 235 where I caught NS 578 heading southbound. I then chase them down to CP WAT in Watsontown. Once they cleared, 633 came out of the siding at North Fair to continue its long journey north to Keating.
