The stiffer the mounts, the more vibration will be transferred to the body. lots of others on here have complained about the vibration issues with ' upgraded' after-market mounts. Somewhere i saw someone said the stock mounts are about 65 durometer. Thanks for the vid.
I read there’s a certain specification to torque these mounts in a specific order to reduce the vibration drastically. I did to mine and did help a lot 🤷🏾♂️
@@ivanfuentes9072 probably late but the majority of the vibration will be caused by the rear mount. You can leave the two sides alone and run a stock rear and will have little to no vibration
I have 2000 honda CRV....Bought 5 motor mounts at Auto Tech. They told me i needed 5 of them. Bought all 5. Go to muffler shop..they installed on my 4 when i told them to install all 5. Idfk i feel like im getting scammed and set up

My car shakes , when I come to a stop .. head gasket replaced and tune done .. they told me it might be the motor mounts .. what do you think ?
Yes it is the motor mounts. Better late than never
Change your ignition control module, or your coil pack
Change your car... that will fix it.
Brakes and rotors maybe
those are not meant for stock daily drivers only track etc
Are those mounts for an ek or eg? And they fit with stock brackets?
Improvising always usually works for me on doing jobs on things I can do!

Yes it did, I believe those mounts are to stiff for the engine so I have the stock rear mount on

There are four mounts for the engine (rear, driver's side, and two lower torque mounts) and a fifth mount for the transmission.
What order did you change the mounts out when you initially changed all of the mounts?
I did the driver side mount first,then passenger, the rear mount for last

I did just a little so that way there wasnt so much weight on that 17mm bolt when i take it out

How do remove the driver side motor mount ... I'm trying to change the belt
Remove the two 17 or 14 cm bolts on the side, next to the engine head
