Ten turnovers last game and you expect her to be the floor general the next game vs a team that went to the finals last yr? They should’ve done a better job setting off ball screens to her so she could catch and shoot.
I been a huge Caitlin fan for a while now, but it’s almost impossible to watch the best point guard in college history sit in the corner possession after possession… come on coach - the team was 13-27 last year. If you’re not going to be any good, at least give the fans what they want to see

This coach is clueless. She would make Larry Bird play with his back to the basket. She would tell Michael Jordan to stop showing off. She would tell Magic that he is too tall to be a point guard, we are moving you to forward. She has zero idea how to use the NCAA all-time scorer and #2 all time in assists. Put the ball in her hand! She is not a spot up 2. She has been given the keys to a Ferrari and won’t take it out of the neighborhood. These women are lazy, won’t run the floor and Erica Wheeler won’t pass the ball to Clark. Caitlin Clark is on the floor and Erica Wheeler and Kelsey Mitchell is handling the ball, when Clark does have the ball, everyone is stagnant, no double screens, no pick and roll, nothing, 4th Quarter after going on a run in the 3rd who is handling the ball ERICA WHEELER WHY IS SHE PLAYING 1 and CLARK SITTING IN A CORNER!?!?! My bigs were being out rebounded by a PG and Boston 5 offense rebounds came from her own misses, and Grace Berger was +4 with 4 minutes why is she sitting on the bench? AND ERICA WHEELER IS TOXIC AF HER TREATMENT OF GRACE IS WHY SHE NEEDS TO GO!!!

In all fairness, they barely have time to run practices and adjust. I believe the coach knows what she is doing. Her players need to be more physical and they need to shoot better, rebound better, and protect the ball better. They also need to throw some bodies around when the other team drives and has no opposition. A coach can only do so much. The players need to execute. They are playing tight. They need to loosen up and start having some fun. CC looked miserable.

Aliyah seems winded, she needs to tighten up (respectfully, I love her,) they need to catch passes and they have to finish at the rim. Chicago Sky beat the Liberty by 50 pts last week without Cardoso. Sheesh.

The coach must take some responsibility. I’ve seen Caitlin take responsibility even when it wasn’t her fault. So did MJ. That is what leadership is about. I’ve been a leader and whether I’ve been successful or not , I’ve always taken the blame. This team says a lot in their multiple press conferences but doesn’t do any of it on the court. The coach calls Clark the point guard and yet has wheeler playing point. I’m a huge Caitlin fan but I am not going to keep watching them get blown out. I suspect many new fans might not as well. Diehard wnba fans might still appreciate the sport but they are far and few in between. It’s the new fans like myself who can help the league grow to the next level.

CC22 is actually playing against 2 teams everytime, Fever and the opponent. Coaching staff eventually has to realize they need to build the team around her to define their offense. Nobody wants to watch a fumbling offense with their star player being misused, standing at the corner being iced by her supposed teammates. At this point, Coach Bluder is looking like a genius.

Wheeler ball hogging to keep CC out of play, constantly dribbles into double team, throws save her ass desperation passes to first person she sees. Once in a while, just random luck, it's the right person, mostly it's just someone she sticks in even bigger trouble. She's the cancer on this team. Sides probably her main candy ass.
She was wholly ineffective when Caitlin was in.
She was SOLELY ineffective when Caitlin wasn’t in. Turned the ball over, took bad shots, ran no plays, set no picks when she was off the ball.
The Fever didn’t just draft Caitlin because she’s the big talk. They need a new PG because Wheeler is way past her prime and Mitchell is prone to injuries.
I like Wheeler. But strategy-wise, she’s taking up space and salary cap money they could use to get another big to help Boston and Smith be able to take a breather. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her traded or waived once they lose a few more games with her not performing.

I knew Erica Wheeler's early support for Caitlin was FAKE. Erica was freezing out Caitlin on numerous occasions when she was open for a shot. It's pretty obvious. Erica needs to go to the bench.

Look, the line up needs to make strategic changes. 1) Indiana need a traditional PG to run the offense. That's not Wheeler, who should be coming off the bench. If Mitchell is not starting, then start Berger instead. She makes smart decisions and can shoot mid-range. Her and Clark seem to work good together. 2) stop using Boston for the pick-n-roll for now because Boston is too slow, which is allowing other teams to double Clark. Alyssa or even Kati would be better. They're faster, quicker. Better looks for Clark, 3) Alyssa and Boston need to crash the boards more. 4) Clark should be running the offense, the field general. I've coached basketball for 12 plus years. This is what I see-- but if anything, they need to stop starting Wheeler-- she's no traditional PG, and this is what they need.

Coach Sides talks a lot but she has no playmaking abilities. She has the potential to be an assistant Coach not an associate or head coach.

After seeing their first preseason game in Dallas and then watching the other ones on TV and watching them last year, what occurs to me is that he got to get the ball in Clark’s hands more and let her shoot more. I’ve seen her miss her first six threes and games in Iowa and then come back and score 30 points, it feels like she’s reluctant to shoot and clearly they’re not getting screens around her. This is a team that lost more games and they won last year. They’ve got to do something different and I think focus in the office around getting her open and just letting her shoot more. The other thing that I see is they’re not in sync when she hits them with a really good surprise pass, they can’t seem to hold it or put it in the hoop. Hopefully that’s going to change with a little more time on the court together. They have a lot of talent. Just want to see him put it together and I think having Clark shoot more as part of that answer, she’s been kind of cold at the beginning, as I said we’ve seen her do that before but then she just kept shooting shooting and then got her rains figured out and then started mailing it

I think this coach underestimated the level of scrutiny she'd be under after drafting Clark. Its game 2 and people are already calling for her head. I don't think the Fever realized they drafted Steph Curry with Lebron's level of anticipation and expectation. This coach and franchise overall seems really unprepared for what Caitlin Clark means/is for the sport

The coach took Caitlin off of point guard for most of this game. Caitlin was point guard, controlling the ball for the Fevers 2 exhibition games, one win and a close loss of 3 points. Even then, this coach said Caitlin had to get over her bad habits. That's a ridiculous statement.

Fever women- Get on the treadmills. Increase your speed. Get some consistently good sleep. Low to no alcohol. (Sorry, but it messes with sleep and mental clarity.) Work on the mental and speed aspect, and once that’s there you’ll gel a lot better. Slow mind slow body. Study on avoiding fouls. Caitlin - Get comfortable doing what you do. Your defense was much better tonight, and you need that, but remember what got you here. Build your calm confidence. Shoot your shots. And when you get a chance, take a day or two to yourself. I cannot imagine you’ve had much time to process your experience so far in general. Coach Sides - They did better tonight. Coach them on closer defense without unnecessary physicality, for their own sake. And no reason for either of these teams to be arguing. Takes too much energy.
Get the team supporting Caitlin on the floor. Take note of each player’s strengths, build plays around that. I saw Bluder. Hope some convos happen for the sake of building a great team.

The whole teams body language says it all. They play like they don't believe. If the players aren't bought in, you are doomed, and that is absolutely a coaching issue.

Team can't jump or rebound or play defense sadly when your the best player you go to the worst team and by watching the last two they are horrible cc passes the ball her team can't catch it or miss open lay ups and they don't pass her the ball back she needs to take 50 shots for them to have a chance to even win a game
For a young team, coach needs to be more uplifting and positive. When you have the #1 pick, it's because you suck. It will take a while to climb the ladder. Coach needs to be positive and teaching and uplifting. I sense unrealistic expectations, frustration, confusion, and emotional instability from this coach.

This coach needs to run screen plays for CC it’s obvi teams are gonna double team her and play hard defense. She needs to watch the plays Steve Kerr draws up for Curry from the last 10 years.
