- Cutting, Laminations and Prepping… Oh My!!! Today’s adventure is all about getting ready for the new classroom. With the new classroom comes a new theme, which means we have a lot of cutting and prepping to get done. But I am so ready to get into the classroom and start decorating; but of course, that is an adventure for next time.

Great video! Cutie doggy! I can usually laminate a lot with no problems from my scotch laminator. Like 30-40 sheets at a time.
Thank you! And I know you can laminate a lot in one setting because other teachers have told me about it. But I just have this completely irrational fear about it.. I know it's silly!
I recommend a paper cutter, it will save your hand and time.
The entire time I was cutting these items, I was saying "I should have remembered to bring it home." I for sure agree that a paper cut would have been my best friend while cutting everything out, I just forgot it when I was moving everything and the end of the year.
Did you have to change grade levels based on enrollment or did you just want to teach k. I know that due to enrollment teachers do switch around. It can be heartbreaking for some teams. Then sometimes it’s nice to get away.
My principal knew I didn’t mind being moved to a lower grade level. But yes, it was due to enrollment. We were expecting less students so we didn’t need as many 2nd grade teachers. So my principal wanted to keep me and asked if I would be okay moving down.
