you don't need to remove the bumper to change headlight bulb just go from behind headlight in engine bay more than enough space to remove and install new headlights
@@area8053 Yes I think it's the easiest way, I've changed both lights on the car and the second one I took the fender bolts out in the top of the fender under the hood and inside the door jam there's one near the bottom that frees up the fender so you can swing it out carefully and the light comes out and back in!!! Didn't even consider the bumper removal, also where the fender attaches to the lower front clip theres an 8 mm socket head screw holding a latch type fastener that keeps the two together, remove that little bolt and pull that lever outward , it's kinda like a hinge lock deal you will see once you look in there with a light, I took the wheel off by the way also.
@@area8053 it's not bad, just message me if you need anything but you will see it's not that bad , I done my second one in about an hour taking my time!
Hi guys and thank you for the tutorial. How about the headlight adjustment mechanism? I mean, once I disconnected the white piece applying vacuum in order to tune the height of the light, it won't work on the "new" headlight and neither the old one does. What can I do now?
Have you been able to do it? I want to swap my xenon for led and I will have to unplug lights in order to open them. I have a auto leveling model with bixenon. Will I encounter issue after setting new lights? Maybe they have to be adopted through star diagnosis?
@@danielemanc and what now, if you stay on a hill, doesn't your autoadjust work at all now? Mine now, work as intented, sometimes when I park on a hill, when I ignite the engine, I see lamps go down a little and up again. So leveling works. If I understand you correctly - this will stop working. What has to be done I think is new lamp adaptation. This can be done through Autocom diagnostic device or star diagnosis. I have to make a forum post somewhere to ask others. Thanks for your input.

My bulbs are working but I still can't see sh!t going down the road, have to keep my high-beams on. I had the headlight covers polished - they had turned dull - and that didn't help at all.
Is there any proper engineer out there that would design a car so that we would not have to remove the bumper cover in order to remove a headlight? I mean this could be achieced in 90s, why not now?
+smyrnianlink no kidding. we wonder almost every day at the shop. We came to the conclusion that they do that on purpose so people can visit the Dealerships more often
+World Mechanics I believe you... It is very annoying. There should be legal standards for this. There is no way a customer can go this deep in his investigation before purchase. It is a misuse of free trade.

I found it easier to take the fender loose and swing it out, gives good access.
It works ?

@@bartoszlaga4743 no, unfortunately I wasn't able to refurbish the original function. I used the manual gear on each headlight, and nothing else.
