- It is early September and gamekeeper Paul Childerley will be shooting in a few weeks time. He takes delivery of a second tranche of partridges on his Bedfordshire shoot. He has to settle them in as quickly as possible, with the correct pens for partridges.

Why do you not put down English partridge as well ? Surely 50-100 would make it interesting for the guns and the survivors help to build up our natural birds ?
Because in breeding season frenchies and greys fight aspecially so waste of time
