My husband was on drugs a few years ago, I cried to Jesus at home and asked him do u really hear me I need you just please give me a hug. The next day I went to adoration. As I was leaving the church, a lady who also was in adoration with me approached me, she said Jesus wants me to tell you that he hears all your prayers and that he will never forsake you. He also told me to give you a hug. I lost it and couldn’t keep my tears from flowing. I love Jesus

When it happens, it's just........beautiful. I pray that your situation has been resolved or that it is being resolved. Please don't lose hope or quit him now, I know it's hard and you deserve better than that behavior but, you are his only hope and Jesus knows it. Jesus will work through you and for you. I feel a need to be physically near Jesus in the form of the Eucharist. It's like a power pulling me from within, a magnet I can't run away from. When I am in a church I don't want to genuflect in front of the Tabernacle, I want to get down on both knees and bow to the ground in reverence. I can't express it enough - thank you, thank you, thank you Jesus, have mercy on me - a sinner. Eucharistic adoration is a gift more precious than anything on earth, it's food for us, it's balm, it's the real presence of our Father.

Very, VERY moving. After I converted to the Catholic Faith I had gone to a retreat and all through the nigh all I wanted to do was sit in front of the Tabernacle and be with the Lord. I was filled with such an energy that I never was tired, and His Presence was just so strong. It's like you just couldn't worship enough or be with Him enough.
    God bless and love everyone!.🕊️👑🙏🌹🦋🤗

Father Mike, I am honestly convinced that you have brought more people to Jesus Christ our savior than anyone has done in 60 years. Your bible in a year has changed sooooo many people. You did it when people were hungry for Jesus, freedom and the truth. YOU DELIVERED. I will stand gladly and say that you should be a saint. You have beautified my God and you made the word palatable.

About halfway through Lent, I was feeling like I wasn't really getting into the season of Lent, so I thought, "Well, I could start going to Blessed Sacrament Chapel...." I've gone for one hour a day since, and I have to say, it is the most beautiful hour of my day (aside from Mass), and each day I end my visit by saying, "Lord, I thank you for inviting me to visit you. If it be your Holy Will, invite me again tomorrow." Of course, he is continually inviting me, but that prayer just comes to mind. It feels very personal.

After the first 2- 3 mins of silence Just keep saying slowly these words " mind be still I am listening to Jesus" at the same time close your eyes and try to get into deeper meditation with God and you could say something like " Jesus reveal yourself to me, I offer myself completely to you" repeat it slowly few times and then before you know you are in deep union with God.

Dear brother or sister, I've felt the same sometimes, when I am tired and I know my household is calling me with work at home. So yesterday night, adoring Jesus after he had been removed from the main church to a small chapel after the Holy Thursday celebration in Gothenburg, Sweden, I prayed to my Guardian Angel, to pray for me in the best way to Jesus, and how that helped! I suddenly I felt so much peace and I kneeled there in front of Jesus for over an hour. I would have stayed more, but my home needed me.

I’m in RCIA and coming from an absolutely zero religious background. I’m getting baptised in just a few days. Prayer has and still feels incredibly awkward and foreign. Plus it’s difficult because I’ve “giga” ADHD. Well, severe ADHD 😔
I’ve been going to the evening Adoration at the Cathedral a few times over the last two weeks. It’s just myself, the priest, and a few old ladies. My thoughts are still scattered, but at least there in the silence I can direct them towards God and Jesus, and at least try. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with happiness for all the people I’ve met in the Church and parish over the last few months due to RCIA. A lot of the time I feel deeply sorrowful, like my hearts being pulled at, for all those who don’t believe. (I’ve now the rule of “never go to adoration without tissues”, haha). Everyone keeps congratulating me on going towards baptism, and I want it more than anything, but inside it’s been a mix of both joy and deep sadness :(

Yet the Father keeps calling us back to Him. Growing in prayer and relationship with God is a lifelong journey, so don't be too hard on yourself, especially if your just starting out. :) The beauty of it is, as you will probably soon see yourself, that for every step you make in your faith you will find that there are still oceans of God's love and goodness and mercy to discover. :) Cling to the Lord and He will allow Himself to be found by you. ❤️ Congratulations on your baptism and welcome to the Church! 🙏

I do adoration more than not all week long, and ensure 10-15mts before mass starts just to sit there and love Him in the tabernacle. Again, how can I not. He died for me, and I can never repay that debt save to love and adore and worship Him. People broken out there, if you stop at a Catholic church, and enter to sit with Him... there' a huge difference when you walk out. You may not be able to - He' waiting for you and us all.

It's funny you said something about how Christ is super vulnerable leaving his body with us, because that reality hit me like a ton of bricks last Thursday. I used to cantor when I was younger, and the lady in front of me turned around after church to compliment me, which was nice, but I was trying to sing softer for just God to hear. I am a revert, so I am often self conscious and wanting to be quieter in mass.

I left Christianity and thought God had abandoned me as a teen. It was painful.
As an adult I took one step forward and stated attending church. I took another step forward and started taking communication every week. And noticed that my weeks went better. Something was changing in me.
Last night at service they stripped the alter and I ended up with a few hours alone to talk God in the sanctuary. I know know it really is Christ in me.
