I would love to see some more in-depth discussion of the fingering and the harmony. In short, a tutorial! But I suppose one should just find Derek Gripper's transcription instead of just saying this....

Yes, I find it fascinating. As for the fingering, I had to adapt what is written on the score in the grade 7 syllabus, I guess it was simplified, but at the expense of the music. My fingering is more complex, but allows the notes to ring on more (as they would on the Kora). Contact me if you'd like to know more. Cheers, Jonny

Thanks - I did change the fingering so notes could ring on a bit. I think the version in the syllabus isn't what Derek Gripper plays either.
