- Just want to add my perspective to recent news about tech industry and how can students deal with it. Just a light hearted conversation, hope you find it useful in someway!

Im working in IT software engineer since 10 years its very hard these days to survive, lots of mental pressure, packages are high but you have pay lots of things in returns like mental peace, hard work, you even don't have time to talk to your parents, friend.
In IT doesn't matter how hard you work.
Google jesa top brand mai jao ga koi mental pressure nahi hoga , Google is god, Google is only best company in universe.

Bro at least you get good pay for your work but if you look in other sectors we don't even get that much salary and have to work 10+ hours daily.
I am frontend developer based on react.js with experience of 18 months and I have been layed off twice due to project suspensions first in December 2022 and then now again in November 2023, I am currently looking for a job while preparing with yours videos. I am looking forward to 2024.

I got laid off due to the module being suspended, 2 months back, still no job. But my passion to code lives on.
But this is the risk many indians are taking. Taking jobs, dreaming about jobs, preparing for jobs to work for the big MNC's, FAANG, MAANG or whoever they are. Americans have a very transaction based approach to work. You work for me, I give you salary for that, but you can leave whenever you want, on the day, or they might fire you the next day. So you are taking a risk by joining such a work environment.
Thats the difference , Here in india it is Master slave culture , Notice period of 3 months , is way too much . In U.S. it is max 2 weeks.
@@iamnoob7593 I understand. In my country we have 3 months of notice periods, from both sides. If you have a fixed job, which means you are a fulltime employee and have passed your 6 months trial period, then you have 3 months notice period as a fixed fulltime employee. This means, if you want to leave job, then you have to give 3 months of notice period to your employer. Same, if the employer, decides to fire you, they have to give you 3 months of notice period. That way, before you leave, employer can find your replacement and train them. The other way, if you resign, you have also 3 months notice periode, so that your employer can find someone else. You also get 3 months to find another job in case you are fired, laid off.
Also, you have more rights, before firing you, your employer have to initiate a process and follow it, otherwise you can take them to court. Like, they have to give you an oral warning, then a written warning, then you call your for negotiations, explaining to you why they are firing you and give you the chance to improve your behaviour or whatever is wrong. If nothing helps or improves, they can fire you. So there is a lot of security involved for your according to law as a fulltime employee. They cannot just fire you over the phone and cut off your access to office, intranet, e-mails and so on, from one minute to the other. If you do that as an employer, you willl be fu*cked.

How can I get a job I am 2020 passed out jan 25 is the last working day and I am in notice Period.Please help me I am not able to understand what to do. First of all note one thing running behind the tech alone will not work. In India there is one proverb if you know business you don't need to worry. The business may be anything even a small business. Whenever you are working in IT try to start a business by side. If any layoff happened your business will never leave you.
Nothing will happen to Indian .As the whole world cannot survive without Indian technocrats, brains, talents, STEM SKILLS, expertise, intelligence, and technology .so whole world and specially America are bound to hire Indian professional with sky high packages for their survival..,

Hi @Akshay the recession is not only due to covid impact, their is currently a global currency reset going on in the market which is leading to dedollarisation, as feat and petro dollar collapse, their is a major economic crisis in the west. It will be the same until the IT companies move their projects to east.

better looks for courses from the people that have actual experience with react native. Just because one person is good teaching one thing doesn't make it good at teaching all other things.

Start initial with resume preparation, checkout the fraz interview with Suman Ghosh it gives great insight into resume structure and how to apply. Main thing is to apply everyday and prepare everyday, you hardly get 1-2 for every 100 or 200 companies applied that's just how it is, so just keep applying so you are putting yourself out there. Good luck.
