My thoughts are that too many women are murdered by their husbands in the US in order to cash in life insurance policies. I cannot understand how someone can take out life insurance on another person without that person knowing. These things only happen in the U.S. where literally everything if for sale.
True. Especially if premiums are increased, they should be notified. Usually people don't touch those after they get a policy. There are some situations where you don't have to specifically enroll someone with an insurance company. If your job provides life insurance, usually there's some coverage for relatives. My own life insurance is 7 digits, but my wife and kid premiums would just be enough to cover expenses. No reason to change that.

Was this the case where he told police that he had been playing poker all evening but one of the other players said that he left for rather a lengthy "phone call" and that when he came back she noticed he wasn't wearing a jacket that he had been wearing when he left the poker table. That jacket was found draped over a doorknob in his home so they knew he had been back to his house while he supposedly was just standing outside his friend's house making a phone call. I don't know if this is the same story but it sounds awfully familiar to me but it has been so long since I saw that story that I have perhaps gotten some of the details wrong.
What year did "The Perfect Murder" with Michael Douglas come out. This is almost identical. It came out in 1998. Guy goes to play cards with his friends for their weekly came. Hides a key for the killer. If you don't want to get caught come up with an original plan.
