Yes not exactly the same as the carbon kit but a great deal for most. Carbon kit has the pro spec transmission with aluminum standoffs, aluminum motor/bearing plate, lightweight machined 21 % OD gears, which the RTR has none of. Also comes with the smaller diameter lower links than the carbon. Doesn’t have the new hard anodized shock bodies either like the carbon. The additional 16% OD over the VFDs 6% is achieved in the front portal gears in the RTR
I enjoy most of your crawler content. It is cool manufacturers give you some recognition. Id like to see your overviews of new rigs be better researched and fact based. This video is almost cringe worthy, from the tire compound, to transmission setup. This is all info probably on the box. I have guys in my local group all the way in Oregon that quote your videos as facts. Hope you take this as constructive criticism. Keep up the good work.
Plus I don’t think crawling is really that big in Oregon, is it? Sounds interesting. What group if I could ask as I’m not to far away. I’m in Montana and crawling is very small and Niche. My group is the Montana Mini Machines .. MMM. Anyways, I go over to Oregon for work once in a while. It would be great to find you guys on Facebook or something and find some new territory for my Capra. Which is usually what I travel with.
@DB-qm4jx Not mad. He's doing the thing. I watch all of his crawler videos. I think he is doing himself a disservice by not giving accurate information.
@DB-qm4jx Why would it matter how big rc crawlers are in Oregon? I was simply stating that his videos have reach. Wouldn't matter if it's 3 people or 300.
Glad to see that you are getting some love from the manufacturers.

Perfect way to get into more comp oriented rig if your new to rc such as myself. Great review!
Joe. I believe the overdrive is in the portal gears. Only 6% in the trans
Yea it has the same vfd spec trans as the ultra and fordyce.
So glad it comes together already 🙌
Yeah bro! Love this for you man. I wouldn’t wanna watch this on any other channel first. You are the man
We come a long way with RTR , RTR comp shootout will be cool video
Yes. A must have. Happy new year Joe 2024
This is awesome!!! So glad you got it first!!!
Exo time👍👍👍👍👍
Looks like one of the best rtr crawlers yet 👌
Nice work!
Looks like a Turbo Racing\Radio master radio. This is fine for me as I like the ones I have purchased.
Nice video. If I didn't get the carbon for Christmas, I would be considering the stance.
Light green. My little guy likes light green not dark green. 💚
awesome, i just watched a video on this truck, but there links don't work, thank you for posting the actual links to the products. you rock
Yes sir!
Very cool man!
That body is great👍
I like it too
What comp class does this fit into ? I'm looking to start comping and an eye like this is perfect.
I wish the body was clear and it had at least a 1080
You big secret keeper
Haha he probably had it for a month , when new atvs would come out, they would have spy’s taking pictures
Like the body just not that color. The truck is awesome and a really nice remote. 👍👍😁😎✌️
At least they made an affordable rtr with everything axial hasn’t done that yet with all the goodies on this rtr
This RTR is downgraded from the carbon kit. The kit is the same price as Axials pro kit.
I want a stance they nice rigs
Very cool body
Will vanquish 1.9 wheels fit these portals?
