Learn how to deco den, how to make sweets deco and how to make (fake) DIY Starbucks Frappuccinos! There's something really fun about making fake cream and being able to touch it after it's dry :D. This was originally filmed for my upcoming Starbucks DIY tutorial but I decided to split it into two videos because making deco den cream is quite popular in itself. You can use this cream for DIY room decor, picture frames, phone cases, headphones or trinket boxes.

quick tip when using silicone caulk: dip your fingertips in rubbing alcohol, and it won't stick to you for a bit. :) an old carpenter friend taught me that, from when he had to remodel peoples' bathrooms. it's enough time to let you smooth the caulk into a corner--and some folks use an ice cube to Smooth it....but that's not really prudent in this application here....
Can i just use normal silicone and dye it woth food coloring or is deco den whip different than silicone i thought it was the same
Do all of these dry pretty solid? Is there any risk of it being ruined? I want to use it to make diy phone cases
You talked really loud and fast in this one, you seem so much comfortable and calm with your videos now. I'm glad that you warmed up to us now!
I don't like to push clay out of the tips. The cream looks messy, but it's just personal preference
I agree
Amy Huang I was cringing when i saw her pushing thee clay...

Who's watching in 2019 and thinking inside "she's way more energetic in this video than she is now" I actually prefer her now with a more calming voice 😍
Personally, as a Baker I cringed when she started to push the clay out of the tip instead of the piping bag
Bushra Mashiat that was cringey to everyone regardless of who’s a baker or not
@@heretocallyououtonyourbull7499 Well why the fuck are yall here then 😂
No one really gives a fuck that you're a baker kiddo..this is her video, not yours. Want to do it differently? Make your own videos! It's simple
Gabrielle Tollerson just stating her viewpoint on what she did.
@@GabrielleTollerson calm down they're just stating their opinion
if you want to make a different type of cream do this: get hand lotion, baby powder, and any acrylic paint. Put some hand lotion in a small bowl, then but in some powder put more powder than lotion, then mix at the end when it is all mixed put in the paint. if you do this you can get a drying cream that is super easy to make also this takes about a day to dry
this is super soft like lotion also if you squish when it is dry it it turns into a colored powder
+BummerFilms (formerly homer12345678919) Does it have to be baby powder? I feel like flour would work too
+Mimi The Nooblet yes but it might rot.
So doesn't that defeat the purpose of trying to make the fake whipped cream? It just disintegrates when squished or smooshed?
Not sure why, but I really like your voice. 😁

Sanaa Nytaliyah hi

Jeyla Khoury bitch bye
ѕanaa вrown Grades don't count until high school
I've seen this video a few times before. (b/c it's so great!) But I just wanted to say my favorite method is the second one. Because I loved being involved instead of simply buying ready-made cream. Also, I have too seen the Fimo video too when she made strawberry shortcake.
I love your voice! I really liked how the paper clay one turned out.
You can add cornstarch if the silicone is to sticky. Think of it like cookie dough and flour
You sound really happy :)
I remember doing this with very fresh Model Magic since it was soooo soft. I just needed to add paint and have a baby wipe over it. It dried pretty quickly.
As always, I enjoyed this lovely tutorial. I admire your craft and I love how you make informative videos. That's why you are one of my favorite channels to watch :)
I've always just used straight caulking for making fake cream, it works pretty well for me. although if you use a lot of paint to color it it gets really melty and looses it's shape, maybe I could add a little bit of cornstarch to fix that?
Hi Joanna! The cream looks like the real thing! You are one of my favourite channels to watch, along with Maqaroon.
You're welcome Joanna.
@@anissa5975 im 7 years late to this comment, but she _is_ maqaroon :)

For some reason whenever im stressed, i come back to this video. This video is very satisfying for me.
The sound is so satisfying
+Should i PLAY this Game? Thanks! If you like the crafting noises then you might like my other channel ruclips.net/user/maqaroon which doesn't have any talking so there are only sound effects in most of the videos ^_^
Thank you for your informative help!
So, mostly I've been wanting to put fake clay on shoes, and have put pure silicone on two pairs so far, but it's very tough to work with since it's so hard. Does your third method also make it any softer? Also, how flexible are options one and two? Since I'll be putting it on shoes, where it'll be bending a bit when you walk. Would it crack?
I don't even craft like at all and here I am
Like I searched felting for beginners because of this channel
I might ask for the stuff to start felting for Christmas
Yyyaayyy *-* I was waiting for your upload xD
nice video ! i tried using clay and glue and water it still works
Does the whip cream with silicone and starch stay rock hard after it dries?Any reply is appreciated, BTW loved the video
You are so FANTASTIC!!! 💞💞
Yes, i've also seen fimo's video ! This videos was helpful !!!
If I were to use a hair dryer or leave the clay in front of a fan, would that speed the drying / hardening process?
Hi!
I love your channel so much and you are the best RUclipsr ever!
I love your channel so so much 😍😘
Why is she so energized?
i dont reallylike diys but you make em AWSOME
+Megami Anime Lover Thank you!! 💖

Thank you so much for this
u sound so much more...enthusiastic! wow
Great video, love this new channel along with Maqaroon! =)
A.R.M.Y 💗💗😁😁🤗
I actually have another way to make fake whipped cream.
You will want to get some liquid latex and a light colored or white conditioner. You want to measure out equal parts of liquid latex and light conditioner into a bowl and mix. About 10 seconds within mixing you will see that the mixture starts to look separated but keep mixing for another five or ten seconds or so until it looks creamy and is more stiff. STOP MIXING AT THIS POINT. If you keep mixing the mixture will clump up and solidify right away and the whipped cream will be ruined. For the next part you want to work quickly, if you want it to stick to a surface or you are using a piping bag. Transfer directly on to surface and let dry OR transfer to the piping bag and pipe on immediately. Let it dry for a few hours, or until it solidifies. You could speed up the process by using a hair dryer. It should stick to whatever surface you place it on nicely.
Thank you very much for sharing with us!
what conditioner? the ones for the hair?
You are so creative
I love how she says "silikun" instead of "silicone" ☺️ I love your vids keep doing what your doing!
Its looks so cute
Artistically Beautiful
Amazing tutorial.
Ok thanks Joanna, i will try it 😊
Awesome video, thank you! 😊
When the clay dries does it feel like silicone? Please respond. :) Thanks!
du bist ziemlich gut!!
du gibst dir auch sehr viel mühe habe ich gemerkt!
also mach weiter so!
i can make a room decor with that! Its so pretty thank you
whipple is a realistic looking product but it practically disintegrates if it gets wet, so be really careful with it.
+Shannon Kobayashi Ah interesting!! Thanks for letting people. I've never used Whipple as they don't sell it in Europe but I imagine it's some sort of paper clay so that will dissolve in water. If people want a waterproof fake cream, silicone is the best way to go!
+mimikrysia2 many brand yellow at different rates, its best to research popular brands for decoden! i also find is unecessary to add cornstarch
+Klai don yeah ur right ......but to make a silicon mold u add cornstarch......but here it is unnecessary 😌
this is really toooooo cute
I love this channel
These are ADORBALE!!
I have neve seen such a amazing chanel like hers
+Two Cousins Tube Thank you so much!!! 💖
+Cute Life Hacks you are welcome and good work
Love your videos ❤️❤️
Would it be possible to add essential oils with the whipped cream made with paperclay? I want to make an orange cream macaroon and I thought It would be cool if it smelled real.
Will it work with hard clay or dried out clay?
Thank you for your answer!
this is my favorite video by you
you can make fake whipped cream with conditioner and flour or cornstarch add flour or cornstarch slowly to the conditioner then mix slowly then wait for it to dry.......I hope my tip is useful........and I'm sorry if my grammar is wrong.........
i did this .it was so cool.
Thanks so much for the video I know I am late but I really like your videos I subscribed and for Halloween I am thinking of being a Starbucks frappe and I need to make the Starbucks frappe whipped cream headband so I need to make fake whipped cream for it I searched that up and I saw your video I thought this is the perfect one because I love your videos and I subscribed to you
Trying this!💕
you can also make fake cream with corn starch acrilic paint and white glue ( elmers glue, resistol, colablanca, etc)
what are the measurements?...
Jennifer Lee i don't really have measurements, i just eyeball it until i get the consistency i want :) , with this mix i made fake whipping cream for my decoden 3ds case :D
+NANArt ok thx xD
I liked it when you turned on the lamp
Thank you! what does the project require?
Thanks! Now I just have to find silicon... That Hardware shop near my house ran out of buisness a few weeks ago. I would ask my dad to buy 5 boxes of silicone.
You don't have to. I have a cheaper way.
You'll need:
-shaving cream
-baby/vegetable oil
-flour/cornstarch but preferably baby powder
-glue
-coloring is optional
First, incorporate equal parts glue and shaving cream
Second, add your coloring at this point unless you aren't adding it
Then add oil to make it shiny
Finally, add the dry ingredients until the mixture isn't runny and holds stiff peaks.
Hope this helped.
wow that is good
+Ayano Hattori thats puffy paint
Does puffy paint have stiff peaks?
+Ayano Hattori what kind of glue?
i love love love her voice
cool! Thank you for this! 😄💞
Sup everyone!
At most michaels and eBay and Amazon, you can find collage clay by mod Podge! It's really awesome, and it's just like mermaid puffy, and the others, and it looks awesome! I recommend it :)
+ExplosiveCookiez Yep! I think that clay works just as well, along with Crayola Model Magic which is also easy to find in the USA. Paper clay itself is a common product and it's sold under different brand names around the world
this looks so good yummmm
Can you substitute the silicone for shaving cream?
Ooh the paper clay one looks really nice. Luckily, I just bought some paper clay a couple days go.
Awesome!!!
Sorry if it's already been answered but how much silicone and corn starch did you use?
Can the air dry clay stick the cabochons without using glue.
Please tell me i really need to know
Thank if u give me about this information!♥
Yes :)
When it dries, the cabochons that you sticks to it will stick to it without glue.
Thank you so much!
why do sound so happy and festive joanna ?
Could you use the airdry clay for small crafts or charms?
I love your voice so much
so beautiful
SUPER CUTE
