I agree with your personal opinion. The high profile is the way to go. I have one on my 2020 4 runner. Also had one for 10 years on my 2010 Explorer. They will outlast your vehicle!

I sent two of the high profiles back to Amazon. The deflector rests on the top fascia too much for me and will cause rubbing. But I only have 1200 miles on my runner, so I’m being extra picky

I also have a clear bra on my white truck.... I really like the look of the low profile deflector, but am nervous about the 3M tape damaging my clear bra if I ever need to take the deflector off. Thoughts??
Hard to say. It really depends on which wants to stick more, the 3m or the clear bra. I would maybe reach out to a clear bra installer and get their feedback.

We currently only have topo letters for our grille. We are uncertain if they will work on an OEM grille.

You could put down some PPF before installing the hood deflector to help with rubbing.

Don’t use the adhesive promoter if you do it, left a permanent purple stain in my paint that won’t wax off my brand new truck
Clear bra is cheaper than paint. 🤘
